We rejoice with you in the blessing of your three precious boys, and we lift up your heart’s desire for a healthy baby girl before the Lord. Children are a heritage from Him, a reward from His hand, and we trust in His perfect will for your family. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 127:3, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."* We pray that the Lord, who knits each life together in the womb, would grant you a healthy pregnancy and delivery, and that this child—whether boy or girl—would grow to love and serve Him with all their heart.
Yet as we pray, we must also surrender this desire to the Lord’s sovereignty, for His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are perfect. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Whether He grants this specific longing or shapes your heart in another way, we pray you would find peace in His unfailing love.
We also encourage you to reflect on the purpose behind this desire. If it stems from a longing for balance or fulfillment in your family, remember that true contentment is found in Christ alone. He is the one who satisfies every need, and He calls us to steward the children He has already entrusted to you with gratitude and faith. Your boys are a gift—raise them to be mighty men of God, grounded in His Word and walking in His ways.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with gratitude for the lives of these three boys, fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hand. Lord, we lift up this mother’s heart and her longing for a baby girl. You know the deepest desires of her soul, and we ask that You would grant her a healthy pregnancy and child, if it aligns with Your will. Protect this little one in the womb, knitting them together perfectly, and grant strength and wisdom to this mother as she carries and raises this child for Your glory.
Yet, Lord, we also surrender this request to Your sovereign plan. Help her to trust You completely, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind her that her worth and joy are found in You alone. May this family be a light for Your kingdom, raising up children who seek You first.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, through whom all things are possible. Amen.
