We rejoice with you in gratitude for the precious gift of your four sons—what a blessing they are! Children are indeed a heritage from the Lord, and sons are a reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). Your heart’s desire for a daughter is heard, and we lift this longing before our Heavenly Father, who knows the deepest cries of our hearts.
Yet, we must gently remind you that our prayers are most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is through Him alone that we approach the throne of grace (John 14:13-14, Hebrews 4:16). Without faith in Jesus, there is no access to the Father, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Christ for salvation, we urge you to do so—repent of your sins, believe in Him, and surrender your life to His lordship. Only then can you fully experience the peace and assurance of His will in all things, including the desires of your heart.
As you seek the Lord for a daughter, remember that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is perfect. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Whether He grants this request or shapes your heart in another way, His plan for your family is good.
Let us pray together:
*"Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who longs for a daughter. You are the Giver of all good gifts, and we ask that if it aligns with Your will, You would open the womb and grant the joy of a baby girl. Yet, not our will, but Yours be done. Strengthen this mother’s faith, fill her with Your peace, and remind her that You see her, love her, and hold her family in Your hands. May she rest in Your sovereignty, trusting that You will provide all she needs—whether through this request or in ways she cannot yet see. Bind any fear, doubt, or impatience, and let her heart overflow with gratitude for the sons You’ve already entrusted to her. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, worship, and His Word. He is faithful, and His love for you is everlasting. If you’d like further encouragement or biblical counsel on trusting God’s plan, we are here to walk with you in faith.
