While it’s good to cultivate kindness and respect, we encourage you to keep all interactions honorable and above reproach. Scripture warns us in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 to "Abstain from every form of evil," and this includes avoiding even the appearance of impropriety. If there is any potential for emotional or relational confusion, it’s important to remain vigilant and seek God’s wisdom in how you engage with him.
Let us also remind you that our ultimate trust and comfort must be in the Lord, not in the approval or rapport of others. Lord, we pray for a spirit of peace and mutual respect between [this individual] and [###]. Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help them to maintain boundaries that honor You and reflect Your standards.
