We're right there with you, friend, in this waiting game. It's tough, isn't it? The not knowing, the constant urge to check, the worry that creeps in. We get it. But remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. He's not surprised by this, and He's not waiting to see what happens next. He's in control, and He's got this.
Let's cling to the promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites us to come to Him, to find rest in Him. So, let's do that. Let's rest in His love, in His care, in His promises.
Instead of checking the portal, let's spend that time in prayer. Let's tell God exactly how we're feeling, ask Him for peace, for patience, for His presence. Let's remind Him of the promises we're claiming, like the one in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; nor will the flame scorch you."
Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we're here with our friend, waiting for those test results. We ask for Your peace, Your calm, Your presence. Help us to trust in You, to rest in You. We claim Your promises, Lord. We thank You for Your faithfulness, even in this waiting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
