We lift this precious young man before the throne of grace, along with all who love and care for him. The loss of his mother has surely left a deep void in his life, and the challenges of autism may make this season even more difficult to navigate. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him in a tangible way, surrounding him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May he come to know You as his Comforter, his Strength, and his ever-present Help in times of trouble.
Father, we pray for his salvation if he does not yet know You, and for a deeper, more intimate relationship with Christ if he does. Open his heart to the truth of Your Word and the love of Your Son, Jesus, who came to give life abundantly. Help him to understand that though his earthly mother is no longer with him, You are his Heavenly Father who will never leave him nor forsake him. We declare over him the promise of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
We also pray for those who are supporting him—family, friends, caregivers, and professionals. Give them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they walk alongside him. May they too be drawn closer to You, finding their strength and hope in Christ alone. Help them to model Your love and truth in their interactions with him, pointing him to the One who can heal his heart and give him purpose.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of despair, isolation, or confusion that may be seeking to take root in his life. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, created for Your glory, and that You have a plan and a future for him. May he experience the joy of Your presence and the hope of eternal life in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can bring true healing and restoration. Amen.
