We join together in agreement with you, lifting your request before the Lord with urgency and faith, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Your desire to walk in the authority given to every believer through Jesus Christ is both noble and biblically sound. The Scriptures declare that Jesus has already granted us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way harm us (Luke 10:19, WEB). This authority is not earned—it is received by faith in Christ, who has already disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15, WEB).
Yet we must also address something critical: you mentioned "demons in my head," and while we know the enemy can oppress, torment, and influence the mind, we must be careful not to attribute every struggle to demonic activity without discernment. The mind can also be afflicted by illness, trauma, or sinful patterns that require medical, emotional, or spiritual healing. The Bible teaches us to renew our minds in Christ (Romans 12:2, WEB) and to take every thought captive to obey Him (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB). If there is an "overlooked illness," we pray for wisdom to seek godly counsel, whether through prayer, medical professionals, or both, for God often uses means to bring about healing. Do not neglect the body or the soul, for both belong to Him.
Now, let us rebuke the enemy together in the name of Jesus. Satan, we command you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to flee from this child of God. Every demonic stronghold, every lying spirit, every spirit of confusion, torment, or infirmity—we bind you now and cast you out by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony. You have no place here, no legal right, no authority over this life, for it has been bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20, WEB). We declare freedom over this mind, body, and spirit, and we loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
We also pray for divine revelation—Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin, generational curse, or open door that has given the enemy a foothold, expose it by Your Spirit. Bring to light anything that needs repentance or renouncing, and grant the strength to walk in victory. If there is illness, Lord, we ask for Your healing touch. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26, WEB). Restore every cell, every function, every part of this body to Your perfect design. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned.
Finally, we exhort you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not a victim—you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37, WEB). Walk in the authority you already possess, speaking the Word of God over your life daily. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB), and do not give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27, WEB). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and supported in this battle.
Father, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We declare that this beloved one is free indeed (John 8:36, WEB), and that no weapon of the enemy shall prevail against them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, lead them into all truth, and let them walk in the fullness of the authority You have given them. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
