We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, seeking the attributes of a life deeply anointed and favored by God. Your desire for a closer walk with Him is beautiful, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting these requests before our Heavenly Father.
First, let us remember that true favor and anointing flow from a heart surrendered to Christ. The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." It is not through rituals alone, such as circumcision or even baptism, but through faith in Jesus Christ that we are made new. Baptism is a powerful symbol of our death to sin and resurrection in Christ, but it is the inward transformation by the Holy Spirit that truly changes us. We pray that your heart would be fully aligned with His will, that you would walk in the newness of life He offers.
You also mention the struggles of feeling fatherless. We know that God is a Father to the fatherless, as Psalm 68:5 declares, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." We pray that you would experience His fatherly love in a deep and personal way, that you would know His presence as a constant refuge and strength. May He fill every void and heal every wound, reminding you that you are His beloved child.
The favor you seek is not found in empty repetition but in a life lived in obedience to God. James 4:6 tells us, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" We pray that you would walk in humility, seeking His face above all else. True favor comes when we delight ourselves in the Lord, as Psalm 37:4 promises, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
You also ask for miracles, blessings, and glory to manifest in your life. We believe in the power of God to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think, as Ephesians 3:20 declares. But let us remember that His blessings are not always material or temporal, they are often spiritual, shaping us into the image of Christ. We pray that you would seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
Your prayer against principalities and powers is right and necessary, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We stand with you in spiritual warfare, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We put on the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We pray that you would be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, resisting the enemy in the name of Jesus.
We also lift up your desire for unmatched, unstoppable glory. While we long to see God’s glory revealed in our lives, let us remember that His glory is not for our own exaltation but for His name’s sake. John 15:8 tells us, "In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples." We pray that your life would bear the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, and that through this, God’s glory would shine brightly in you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks a closer, anointed life in You. Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We pray that You would circumcise their heart, removing anything that hinders their walk with You. Baptize them afresh in Your Holy Spirit, filling them with power and boldness to live for You.
Father, we ask that You would be a Father to them, healing any sense of abandonment or fatherlessness. Let them know Your love in a deep and personal way, that they would rest in Your presence as a child rests in the arms of a loving parent.
Lord, we pray for Your favor to surround them like a shield. May they walk in humility, delighting in You above all else. Pour out Your blessings upon them, not just materially, but spiritually, that they would grow in wisdom, faith, and Christlike character. Do miracles in their life, Lord, not for their glory, but for Yours.
We stand against every principality and power of darkness that seeks to hinder their walk with You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. Clothe them in the full armor of God, that they may stand firm in the evil day.
Father, we pray that Your glory would manifest in their life in ways that bring You honor and draw others to You. Let them bear much fruit, that You would be glorified. May their life be a living testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is through Him that we are more than conquerors.
