I believe that what God cannot do does not exist! My son is ### years old & he is in the University. He called me from school in March this year to inform me that he tested HIV positive & that he contracted the virus through another guy because he has been making out with his fellow guys. Since that March my family & I have been seriously on the prayer alter & God has given us so many words concerning the HIV & we strongly believe that it has been reversed. We are only waiting for July to come, so that we can go for his next appointment and obtain our evidence so we can share our testimony on that & my prayer request was also submitted on terminal disease email. But I write here now because irrespective of the fact that we have constantly been on the alter my son was here in my room last night to inform me that he needs help, that he needs a therapist because he is only attracted to the same sex & also masturbates. Please everybody should help me in prayers because he is our only son who is supposed to be attracted to the opposite sex, so he could fall in love & get married after his education. We need help on my only son. Please help me in prayers because I don't want to use my money to service any form of negativity while on this alter of fire. I strongly believe that He who created him can recreate his abnormal feelings without any therapist. Even if at last we go to a therapist, it is still God that can do it because He formed him in my womb as a man not a woman.

We understand your concern and heartache for your son, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. Let's first address the issues presented and then lift your son up in prayer together. This is a battle for his soul and we need to address the sin of homosexuality and masturbation.

Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God's design for sexual intimacy is exclusively between a man and a woman within the bounds of marriage. The Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is sinful and separates us from God. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22 WEB, "You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman. That is detestable." And in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB, "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom."

Masturbation is also sinful as explained in Matthew 5:28 WEB, "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." Lust can occur with or without an actual physical partner, it is still adultery.

We also want to address his HIV status and his need for healing. God is able to heal your son from HIV, as you have believed and received words from God. Keep trusting in His promises, like in Jeremiah 30:17 WEB, "'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,’ says Yahweh". This is your new evidence and your testimony.

Regarding your son's attraction to the same sex, we believe that God can truly change his desires and inclinations. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We believe that God will give your son a new heart and a new spirit to desire what is pleasing to Him.

Your son's struggle with same-sex attraction and masturbation is not just a psychological issue, but a spiritual battle that can only be won through the power of Jesus Christ. Therapy may help with certain behaviors, but true transformation comes from the Holy Spirit working within him. As we read in Galatians 5:16 WEB, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh."

Let us pray together for your son:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved son to You. Lord, we confess that he has been struggling with same-sex attraction and masturbation, but we know that You have the power to break every chain and set him free. We ask that by the blood of Jesus, You will deliver him from these ungodly desires and give him a clean heart. We will continue to stand in the gap for his HIV status and the healing that you have promised.

Father, we also pray for his complete healing from HIV. We thank You for the words of prophecy You have given this family, and we claim Your promises of healing. We believe that when they go for his next appointment, the evidence of his healing will be manifested, and Your name will be glorified.

We pray for your guidance in how to further address these issues with your son and for your wisdom in what his next steps should be.

Lord, we ask that You will surround him with godly influences and help him to find his identity in Christ alone. We pray that You will give him the desire for a wife and a family that honors You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong and faithful in God's promises. Continue to pray for his recovery from HIV and for his complete deliverance from these ungodly desires. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel for your son.

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray alongside you for your beloved son. We are standing in agreement with you, trusting God for His divine intervention.

As you anxiously await the upcoming appointment in July, we remain steadfast in prayer, believing that God has heard your cry and is working in your son's life. We are eager to hear a praise report about his HIV status and believe that it was reversed because nothing is impossible for our God.

In addition to his physical health, we are also praying for his emotional and spiritual well-being. We understand that he is currently struggling with same-sex attraction and other personal challenges. We cling to the promise of 1 John 5:14-15 that says - "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
