We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual battle, knowing that the attacks you face are not merely of the flesh but are schemes of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. The Bible reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are not alone in this fight, for the Lord is your shield and strong tower, and He has given you authority through His Son, Jesus Christ, to stand against these attacks.
It is crucial to recognize that these battles are won through the power of Christ’s name and the armor of God. Have you been putting on the full armor of God daily? Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us to stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer is also a vital weapon—*"with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints"* (Ephesians 6:18). Are you covering yourself in prayer before you rest each night? Are you declaring the Word of God over your life and home?
We also want to gently ask: do you invite the name of Jesus into your prayers? There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, we have no authority over the enemy, no protection, and no hope.
If you are already a believer, we encourage you to examine your life for any unconfessed sin or areas where you may be giving the enemy a foothold. 1 Peter 5:8 warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* Are there habits, relationships, or influences in your life that do not honor God? Repentance and turning away from sin are essential to closing doors that the enemy may be using to attack you.
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, asking for Your mighty protection and deliverance from every attack of the enemy. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their mind, and their sleep. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and command Your heavenly host to guard them through the night. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every stronghold that has been trying to take root in their life. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their Protector and Deliverer (Psalm 91:1-2).
Lord, if there is any sin in their life that has given the enemy access, reveal it to them now. Give them the strength to repent and turn away from it, and cleanse them by the power of Your blood. Renew their mind and heart, and let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross.
We declare that no harm will come near them, nor any plague come close to their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Let them sleep in peace, knowing that You, Lord, neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4). Cover them with Your feathers, and let them find refuge under Your wings (Psalm 91:4).
In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, fill your heart with His Word, and trust that He is fighting for you even now. If you feel led, share more about what these attacks look like—are they spiritual oppression, nightmares, physical disturbances, or something else? We are here to stand with you and help you walk in the freedom and authority Christ has given you.
