At a Christmas party for work we played a white elephant

Beloved of All
At a Christmas party for work we played a white elephant game. You can choose a present under the tree or choose a gift that someone has opened. Long story short I picked the gift my friend opened.I was second to last to pick She was the first one to pick...She is furious at me. I did it just to be funny and keep the game going - Anyway she is super upset with me! She in fact told me when I picked her gift to never speak to her again. I hate you. In front of our boss and all the staff. Everyone was laughing, as this kinda razzing happened over the course of the game. I thought she was just kidding, but she was not. Anyhow I tried calling and texting her several days later. She would not respond. So I drove to her house with the gift wrapped with another gift I had bought for her. She sent me a text saying a true friend would have apologized quicker and that by giving back the gift is not justified. I however never apologized. I was just playing the game. Pray that a silly game doesn't destroy the friendship.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
