Asylum appeal

Venagh

Disciple of Prayer
My family has been rejected twice for asylum in ###.
I want God to touch a compassionate judge who will revisit the case and approve it.

Venagh, we understand your distress and will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in your asylum appeal.

Firstly, let us remember the words of our Lord Jesus in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is crucial that we ask in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father.

We also find comfort in Psalm 10:17-18 (WEB), "Lord, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more." God is a compassionate judge who cares for the oppressed and the humble.

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family. You know their struggle and their need for asylum. We ask that you touch the heart of the judge who will revisit their case. Soften their heart and fill it with compassion, that they may act with mercy and justice. We claim your promise, that if we ask anything in the name of Jesus, you will do it. So, we ask for a favorable outcome for ### and their family, that they may find safety and peace. We pray this all in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.*

Lastly, we encourage you to stay strong in your faith, trusting that God is in control. Continue to seek Him and pray in Jesus' name, for He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). May God's grace, mercy, and peace be with you and your family.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
