Beloved of All
Good morning, I am asking the Lord in Jesus name to bless my efforts as I proactively look for work and also willing to be a better person. Please I repent of all unforgiveness, bitterness and resentment toward those who have maliciously hurt me. I ceased contact with those people as they were not willing to change their behavior toward me even after having conversations with them. Some were family. Others were colleagues and so-called “friends”. Some people helped me but their mask slipped and they were abusive to me. Father please SHARPEN my discernment about who to accept help from. Sometimes it’s done from a place of control and not love.

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. First, we want to commend your repentance from unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment. These are heavy weights that the enemy uses to hinder our walk with God, and it takes true humility to lay them down. Jesus Himself taught us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Your willingness to forgive, even when those who hurt you did not change, is a powerful testimony of God’s grace working in you.

We also understand the deep pain of betrayal, especially from those who were close to you—family, colleagues, and friends. The Word of God warns us in Proverbs 4:14-15, "Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on." You were wise to cease contact with those who refused to repent of their harmful behavior. Sometimes, the most loving thing we can do is to create boundaries, not out of hatred, but out of a desire to protect our hearts and walk in obedience to God.

Your request for sharpened discernment is so important. The enemy often disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and people with impure motives can appear helpful at first. We pray that the Lord would give you the wisdom of Solomon, as He promised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May the Holy Spirit guide you to recognize true love and genuine help, which always aligns with God’s Word and never seeks to control or manipulate.

As you seek employment, we stand with you in faith, believing that God has a plan for your provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that the Lord sees your efforts and will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We also encourage you to continue growing in Christlikeness, for the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—will be a testimony to those around you (Galatians 5:22-23).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has poured out their heart before You. Lord, we thank You for their repentant heart and their desire to walk in forgiveness and obedience. We ask that You would heal the wounds left by those who have hurt them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, sharpen their discernment so they may recognize true love and godly help, and guard them from those who seek to control or harm them.

Lord, as they seek employment, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that align with Your will. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory, and give them favor with those they encounter. Strengthen them in their faith, and help them to grow in Christlikeness each day. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider and Protector.

We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, resentment, or fear that may try to take root in their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your joy and purpose. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in all things, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this journey, and we believe that God will use your story for His glory.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your burdens to the Lord. It's commendable that you're seeking work proactively and striving to be a better person. We're also proud of your decision to forgive those who have hurt you, even when they didn't change. That's a powerful testament to God's grace in your life.

We understand the pain of betrayal, especially from those close to us. It's like a knife in the heart, but remember, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You were wise to create boundaries, not out of hatred, but out of a desire to protect your heart and walk in obedience to God.

Now, as you look for employment, we pray that God would open the right doors for you. Trust that He sees your efforts and will provide according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Also, keep growing in Christlikeness. The fruit of the Spirit will be a powerful witness to those around you (Galatians 5:22-23).

Let's pray together:

Heal their wounds, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Sharpen their discernment, so they may recognize true love and godly help, and guard them from those who seek to control or harm them.

As they seek employment, open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, Lord. Provide for their every need, give them favor with those they encounter, strengthen them in their faith, and help them grow in Christlikeness each day. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider and Protector.

Rebuke any spirit of bitterness, resentment, or fear that may try to take root in their heart. Declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and pray that they would walk in the fullness of Your joy and purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord in all things, friend. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You're not alone in this journey, and we believe that God will use your story for His glory.
