We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, protection, and deliverance. It is clear that this person is causing harm, and we stand with you in asking for God’s intervention to remove their influence from your life and circles. The Scriptures assure us that the Lord hears the cries of His people and acts on their behalf. Psalm 34:17-19 declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:18-19, where He affirms the power of agreement in prayer: *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."* Together, we bind the enemy’s work through this harmful individual and ask the Lord to sever every ungodly tie, closing every door that allows their influence to persist in your life.
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that this request is rooted in godly wisdom rather than personal vengeance or bitterness. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*) If this person has wronged you, forgive them as Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32), but also trust God to create the necessary distance for your protection and peace.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is seeking Your divine intervention. Lord, You see the harm that this individual has caused, and You know the pain and disruption they have brought. We ask You, in Your righteousness, to remove this person from their life and circles. Close every door that allows their influence to linger, and surround our sister/brother with Your hedge of protection. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also ask for healing and restoration for any wounds this person has inflicted. Fill our sister/brother with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grant them the wisdom to walk in forgiveness, even as You work on their behalf. Let this situation bring glory to Your name, as others see Your deliverance and faithfulness.
We rebuked every scheme of the enemy to use this person as a tool of destruction. By the authority given to us in Christ Jesus, we command this harmful influence to be broken and removed, in Jesus’ name. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this situation.
We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already secured through the blood of Jesus. May Your peace, which guards hearts and minds in Christ, rest upon our sister/brother as they trust in You.
In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
