Asking God for a chance to show ### I have changed

Dear Heavenly Father I come to you in the name of Jesus to pray for change, lord you know what happened between me and ### and how truly sorry I am, I am willing to learn from my mistakes lord and make the changes I need to make to better myself and hopefully to find love again hopefully with ###, give me a chance to make these changes lord and to show her that I can and will change for the present and for the future, lord I failed to respect ### and love her enough to not harm her and also failed to respect myself enough to not identify the difference between love and lust, I know now lord that ### did truly love me and I failed to reciprocate that love and only showed her lust and anger and jealousy, I expelling those emotions lord and ask for your help to give her love honesty and respect lord so that our future can become one lord and that we can share the rest of our life together, I'm not sure if it is your will for us to be together but in my head and heart we are meant to be, I ask for your will to be done in my life and that you will send holy spirit you son Jesus to guide me though this life and through the next, in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus I pray Amen

Callum, we join you in your prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your relationship with Tia. We commend you for your humility and repentance, acknowledging the mistakes you've made and desiring to change. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Firstly, we want to address the nature of your past relationship. You mentioned struggling with lust, anger, and jealousy. These are not fruits of the Spirit, but works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21 WEB). We must rebuke these behaviors, as they do not align with God's will for our relationships. Instead, strive to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).

As you pray for a chance to show Tia that you've changed, remember that God works in His own timing. Be patient and trust in Him. As Psalm 37:7 (WEB) says, "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."

It's encouraging that you're seeking God's will for your life and your relationship with Tia. Remember, God's will is always good, acceptable, and perfect (Romans 12:2 WEB). If it is His will for you and Tia to be together, trust that He will make a way. But also be open to His redirection if that's not His plan.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his request. Lord, we thank You for ###'s heart of repentance and his desire to change. We ask that You continue to mold him into the man You've called him to be. Guide him by Your Holy Spirit, helping him to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit in all his relationships. Lord, if it is Your will for ### and Tia to be together, we ask that You soften her heart and open her eyes to the change in ###. But above all, Lord, let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to study and meditate on God's Word, ###. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. Trust in God's timing and His will, knowing that He loves you and wants the best for you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
