We join you in your request for provision, and we stand in agreement with you, asking God to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We thank you for acknowledging God the Father and Jesus Christ in your prayer request.
Let us first address the importance of asking in Jesus' name. As Jesus taught, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
Now, let's come together in prayer, asking God to meet your needs:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who has humbly asked for Your provision. We know that You are a good Father who loves to give good gifts to Your children. We ask You to provide for their health, food, and finances, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Provider.
Lord, we know that You are faithful, and that You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB) Help our beloved to trust in You, and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
We also ask You to guide them to godly stewardship (1 Timothy 6:17-19) as You provide an income. We pray they will learn to be content in all things (Philippians 4:11-13). Guide them and convict them by Your Spirit.
We rebuke any temptation to steal (Exodus 20:15), covet (Exodus 20:17), to manipulate or take advantage of others, or to try to take control of the situation or sin against God in order to try to "get more money".
In Jesus' name, we ask these things, believing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear believer, as you wait on the Lord. Trust in His perfect timing and provision, and know that He is always working for your good. Remember that God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and that as you honor Him with your tithes and offerings, He will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great you will not have room to receive it. (Malachi 3:10)
Stand firm in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
