Asking for prayers to bring about a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness.

Beloved of All
Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!
Thank you!!!

We join you in bringing this deep wound and this longing for justice before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for sharing how the Lord has kept you, blessed you, and drawn you closer to Himself even through great injustice and loss.

We hear your heart crying out for righteousness to be revealed after years of waiting, and we hear also your thankfulness that God has been faithful to you, that He has exposed corruption and brought an end to an unjust government, and that He has shown you His power through miracles even when you were not able to finish your studies because of false and dishonest accusations against you. We rejoice with you that God can redeem what was meant for evil and work it for good, as it is written in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, and in Psalm 37:28 that Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints.

We understand your reference to the Sun of Righteousness, for it is written in Malachi 4:2 But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. We pray with you that His light would expose what is hidden, heal what has been broken, and bring righteous judgment where it is needed. We also remember that God is indeed a righteous judge, and that justice belongs to Him. It is written in Romans 12:19 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, and in Hebrews 10:30 Vengeance is mine, I will repay, and again, The Lord will judge his people. This is a comfort to us, because when police and judges failed and when lies and aggression were used against you, God still saw and He still sees.

We want to gently encourage you in this season of waiting to guard your heart against bitterness, even while you rightly pray for justice. The Lord calls us to desire justice and to pray for righteous leadership, and He also calls us to keep a heart of forgiveness as He has forgiven us. It is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, and in Hebrews 12:15 looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled. You showed a Christlike heart when you first prayed for this man to have mercy and time to repent and come to Jesus and ask for forgiveness, and we honor that obedience. Even now, while we fully agree with you in praying that evil influence would be removed from your country, we continue to leave his eternal soul in God’s hands, knowing in 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and that God alone knows the heart fully.

We also join you in praying for your nation and for those in authority, as we are commanded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, and we remember in Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, and in Romans 13:1 and Romans 13:4 that there is no authority except from God, and that the ruler is a servant of God to you for good, and an avenger for punishment to him who does evil. If this man remains in a parliamentary position and uses it for evil, we agree with you that it is right to pray that God would remove that influence and raise up righteous leaders who will do justice and love mercy.

We lift this before the Father together in Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne. We thank You that You are the righteous Judge who sees all things, who hates injustice, and who loves righteousness. We thank You for how You have kept our dear sibling through years of pain, false accusation, and loss, and for how You have blessed and drawn near and shown Your faithfulness with miracles. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation and in this country. If it is Your will, remove this man from his position of influence so that he can no longer harm the nation with evil actions, and let justice be served in a way that glorifies Your name and protects the people. We pray that You would continue to expose corruption and establish leaders who will fear You and execute justice fairly. We pray for this man’s soul, that if there is still opportunity for repentance, You would bring him to true conviction and to faith in Jesus, and if he continues to refuse You, that You would humble him and restrain his ability to do further evil. Guard our sibling’s heart from bitterness and fill it with Your peace, healing, and hope, and redeem the years and opportunities that were lost, and lead this life forward for Your glory. We trust Your perfect timing and Your perfect justice, and we ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our only Savior and Mediator, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord’s sovereignty and to walk in forgiveness while still seeking justice through prayer and through lawful, peaceful means as God provides. Keep seeking first His Kingdom, as it is written in Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well, and do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good as written in Romans 12:21. The Lord has not forgotten you, and He will not forsake the cause of justice.

We are grateful you came back to us after these five years and shared so honestly what this long road has held for you. We hear how heavy this has been, the false accusations, the aggression, the loss around your studies, and how much you have waited hoping this man would turn and seek forgiveness.

It makes sense that you are asking God now for justice to be made plain, and for your country to be protected from further harm. We join you in asking Him to bring what is true into the light and to establish what is right according to His will, and we also thank Him with you for the ways you have seen Him draw you closer, show you miracles, and expose corruption even while this pain has remained unresolved.

Carrying a deep wrong for so many years is exhausting, and the decision to release someone to God and the slower healing of the heart do not always move at the same pace. One can be a settled choice before the other feels settled. It may help to sit with a trusted pastor or mentor in the coming weeks simply to talk through what restoration and next steps could look like for you personally, apart from what this man does or chooses, and to keep entrusting the outcome you cannot control to the Lord who judges rightly.

Father, we bring our friend before You and ask for Your righteous will to be done in this situation and in our friend's country. Guard what is good and true, bring justice where there has been deceit, and bring deep healing, peace and direction for the life still ahead. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your petition has come before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the weight of sorrow that has followed you these many years. The wrong done to you, the false accusation, the aggression and the failure of earthly justice, and the hindrance to your studies, are not hidden from Him who sees all things. He who preserved you through perils and trials has also witnessed every deed done against you, for God Himself, the Judge, comes forward as a witness to the crime, and in the condemnation and in the punishment of every sinner, God will be justified.

We rejoice to hear that even in this affliction the Lord has drawn you nearer to Himself and shown you many mercies, and that you have learned to trace His hand both in mercy and in justice. You have prayed as the Psalmist prayed, I have done judgment and justice, leave me not to my oppressors, and the Lord has taught you that He will not acquit the wicked, for He is infinitely just and His justice demands that sin be punished unless men turn to Him with full purpose of heart. Yet we remember also that He lays justice to the line and righteousness to the plummet, and He must do right. The deluge and the Red Sea declare His justice, but the ark and the mercy seat declare that another prerogative is exercised toward sinners, even mercy through the atoning blood. Justice itself was satisfied when Christ bore the tremendous debt due to God for His people, and by faith we cling to that cross, knowing that punished that sin must be, as long as God is God, the holy and the just, but that in Christ the sinner may find pardon.

In this confidence we join you in prayer, not with a spirit of vengeance, but with a desire that the Sun of Righteousness would arise with healing and with righteous judgment. We pray that the Lord, who is a righteous Judge and who deals with men as they deal with others, would do what is right for your country and restrain evil influence in high places. If it be His will, we ask that He would remove from power those who use it for evil, as He has already removed others who supported injustice, and that corruption would continue to be exposed. Yet we pray this with submission to His wisdom, for as long as God rules the universe He rules it in wisdom, and His wisdom knows what is safe and right.

We also exhort you, dear soul, to keep your heart with all diligence before Him. The Word teaches us to forgive as we would be forgiven, and to let the bitterness of our sympathy with Christ take away from our nature all bitterness, harshness and malice toward our fellow men. When we hate evil we are still to love the soul of the evildoer and desire his reclamation, even as we hate his false and evil deeds with a righteous hatred. You sought mercy for this man that he might repent and come to Christ, and that was well. Though the Lord has shown you that some will not repent even when time is given, we are still to leave vengeance to Him and to treat God truthfully, laying bare our souls and asking Him to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, lest any root of bitterness should trouble us and shut our lips in prayer.

Be encouraged that He who is great in justice is also great as a Savior. He has blessed you though your path was hindered, and He will continue to be your portion. We will pray that you may be kept from fear, that you may trust Him who bore the sins of His people and discharged the whole debt at the court of Eternal Justice, and that you may find rest in His faithful and just forgiveness.

We pray together:

O Lord our God, Thou holy and just Judge of all the earth, Thou hast seen the wrong and Thou wilt be clear when Thou judgest. We lay this matter before Thy throne and ask that Thy will be done. Let righteousness go forth as the light and justice as the noonday. Restrain evil, protect this land from those who would harm it, and humble the proud if they will not submit to Thee. Keep Thy child from all malice and fear, cleanse the heart from bitterness, and grant grace to forgive even as Thou hast forgiven. Let Thy name be glorified as Thou doest right, and let Thy Sun of Righteousness shine upon this sorrow. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Advocate, who bore our sins and satisfied Thy justice. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for trusting us with this painful story and for allowing us to pray with you again after these years. We have heard your hurt over the false accusations, the aggressive treatment, the failure of police and judges to act justly, and the deep cost to your life and studies, and we grieve with you over what you have endured.

We join you in giving thanks that even in this hard road the Lord has drawn you closer to Himself and shown you His faithfulness and many mercies. It is right to thank Him that corruption is being exposed and to praise Him as the righteous Judge who sees all things clearly when human justice fails.

Your desire for justice is understandable and right, for God Himself loves justice and hates injustice. Scripture teaches that injustice is most bitter for the one who practices it, for even if he can hide from human courts or find flatterers to excuse him, he cannot silence the conscience God has placed within him. That conscience remains as a witness until the final judgment. At the same time Scripture teaches that God is longsuffering, not because He overlooks sin, but because He desires sinners to come to repentance. His patience is meant to lead to repentance, and when that patience is refused, His judgment is more certain and more fearful. Men may fail to judge rightly, but God will not overlook what has been done.

We hear that for years you prayed for mercy for this man, that he might repent and come to ask forgiveness, and that you have come to see that only God knows the heart and whether a person will respond to more time. That is a difficult and humbling lesson, and we commend your willingness to leave that judgment to the Lord.

We will pray with you as you have asked, that the Lord in His wisdom would protect your country from further harm and that His will would be done. We will ask that if this man remains in a position of influence, the Lord would either bring him to genuine repentance and humility before God, or, if he will not submit to God, that the Lord in His righteous providence would limit his power to do evil and remove him from a place where he can harm others. We do not pray out of personal vengeance, for vengeance belongs to the Lord, but we do pray for true justice, for truth to be revealed, for the innocent to be vindicated, and for evil to be restrained.

We also pray for you, that God would continue to heal the wounds left by these accusations, that He would redeem what was lost in your studies and bring restoration in the way He knows is best, and that He would keep your heart in that broken and contrite spirit which does not rise up to strike back but quietly entrusts itself to God, who judges righteously. May He guard you from bitterness and fill you with peace as you trust His timing.

We stand with you in praying that the Sun of Righteousness would shine with healing and with judgment, exposing darkness and bringing justice in His perfect way. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and reconciler, through whom we have forgiveness and adoption, and before whom every person will one day give account.

Let the name of the Lord be glorified and His will be done. We will continue to remember you, your country, and even this man before the throne of grace, asking for mercy where mercy may still be received and for righteous justice where it is required. Amen.
