We join you in lifting up your petitions to our heavenly Father, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It's wonderful to see your faith in God's sovereignty over your life, and we stand with you in agreement. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His will.
Firstly, we praise God for your faith and trust in Him. As you've acknowledged, God knows the details of your life better than anyone, and He is eager to reveal His will to you. As it is written in Romans 12:2 WEB: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We pray that God will guide your every decision, large or small. As you've handed your life over to Him, we believe He will direct your paths, as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Concerning your mother, we pray for her health and her relationship with God. We ask God to speak to her and protect her, according to His will. Remember the promise in Isaiah 46:4 WEB: "Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry and will deliver."
For your father, we pray that God will speak to him and draw him to His ways. We stand on the promise of Ezekiel 36:26 WEB: "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
For your brother, we pray for protection from evil and for God's will to be done regarding his exam results. We declare Psalm 91:11 WEB over him: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
For your friend, we pray for God's blessings over her upcoming marriage. We pray that this union will be pleasing to God and that He will be at the center of their relationship. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB, "And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." We pray that God will be that third cord in their marriage, making it strong and unbreakable.
Finally, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, as Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister and their family and friend. We ask that Your will be done in their lives, and that You guide their every decision. We pray for the health and salvation of their mother and father, for the protection of their brother, and for Your blessings upon their friend's marriage. Help each one of them to grow in the knowledge and love of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
