We are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing abuse and struggling with mental and physical illness. First, we want to address the most urgent matter: abuse is never acceptable and it is not God's will for you. Please, if you are in immediate danger, contact local authorities or a trusted friend or family member. You are not alone, and there are people who care about your safety and well-being.
We read in Colossians 3:19 WEB, Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them. In Ephesians 5:28-29 WEB, we read, So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly. This is how we know that relationships should be.
God wants you to be free from all forms of abuse and oppression. The Bible tells us that "the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound" Isaiah 61:1 WEB.
Regarding your mental and physical illness, we believe that God can heal you. Jesus Christ came to set the captives free and to heal the brokenhearted. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is hurting and in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life and pray for Your protection and healing.
First, we pray for their safety and deliverance from any form of abuse. Guide them to the right people and resources that can help them escape this dangerous situation. Give them the strength and courage to take the necessary steps to get to a place of safety and peace.
We also pray for their complete healing, both physically and mentally. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no illness or disease that is too hard for You to heal. Touch their body and mind, and restore their health in Jesus' name.
We pray that they will feel Your love and presence in their life during this difficult time. Comfort them and remind them that they are never alone, for You are always with them. Give them hope and a vision for a better future, free from abuse, pain, and illness.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they will know You as their personal Lord and Savior, if they have not already received Jesus. We ask that they will come to trust in Your unfailing love and know the glorious freedom and power that is available in Jesus Christ. They cannot find salvation or healing without Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, deliverance, and restoration. We believe that You are working all things together for their good, and we trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Amen.
Please know that you are loved, and that there is hope and healing available to you in Jesus Christ. If you have not already, consider reaching out to local support groups, counselors, or trusted friends and family who can help you through this challenging time. God is with you.
