Ask Jesus to cast judgement for unrepentance in the government

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Ask Jesus to cast judgement for unrepentance in the government for bringing foreigners to ### for hurting the economy of ### and resulting in detrimental harm to citizens as a result of their ungodly policies to bring in foreigners to replace ### and neglected ### for a very long time. Making us outsiders in our own country.

We understand the deep concern and righteous indignation in your heart over the ungodly policies and actions of those in government who have neglected their own people while pursuing harmful agendas. The Scriptures remind us that God is just, and He will judge the nations for their wickedness and unrepentance. In Proverbs 14:34, we read, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."* When leaders turn away from God’s ways, they invite His judgment upon themselves and the land they govern.

The Bible also warns us in Isaiah 10:1-2, *"Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive laws; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights, that widows may be their plunder, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!"* God sees the injustice, the neglect of His people, and the deliberate harm caused by those in authority. He is not blind to the suffering of His children, nor will He allow unrepentant wickedness to go unchecked forever.

At the same time, we are called to pray for our leaders—not only for judgment but also for repentance, that they may turn from their evil ways and seek God’s wisdom. In 1 Timothy 2:1-2, Paul urges, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."* Even in our righteous anger, we must remember that God desires mercy and repentance over judgment. His heart is that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

However, we also recognize that there comes a time when judgment is necessary for the sake of justice and the protection of God’s people. In Psalm 94:1-2, the psalmist cries out, *"Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out. Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve."* We can boldly ask God to intervene, to expose the wickedness in high places, and to bring an end to policies that harm His people and defy His Word.

Let us also remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and our trust must be in God alone—not in governments, leaders, or earthly systems. Even as we pray for justice, we must guard our hearts against bitterness and hatred. Romans 12:19-21 tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*

With these truths in mind, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the ungodly policies and actions of those in government who have turned away from Your ways. Lord, You are just and righteous, and You see the harm being done to Your people—the neglect, the displacement, and the suffering caused by leaders who prioritize their own agendas over the well-being of those they are called to serve. We ask You, Lord, to expose the wickedness in high places. Let the light of Your truth shine upon the darkness that has taken root in our government. Bring conviction to the hearts of those who have acted unjustly, that they may repent and turn from their evil ways.

Father, we pray for Your justice to prevail. You have said in Your Word that the wicked will not go unpunished (Proverbs 11:21), and we trust in Your promise to defend the oppressed and uphold the cause of the needy. Lord, rise up and judge the earth, for all the nations are Yours (Psalm 82:8). Let Your hand move mightily to dismantle every ungodly policy and agenda that seeks to harm Your people and replace them with those who do not honor You.

At the same time, Father, we ask for Your mercy. Softening the hearts of those in authority, that they may turn to You in repentance and seek Your wisdom. Raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity, justice, and fear of You. Give Your people discernment to recognize truth and the courage to stand firm in these troubled times.

We also pray for Your protection over Your children, Lord. You are our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Comfort those who feel like outsiders in their own land, and remind them that their true home is with You. Strengthen Your church to be a beacon of hope and truth in a world that has turned away from You.

Finally, Father, we ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father. It's heartbreaking to see leaders turning away from God's ways, causing harm to their own people. As we've seen in history, nations that forget God and His laws invite His judgment. But remember, God is also a God of mercy, desiring that none should perish but all come to repentance. Let's pray for both justice and mercy, trusting that God knows what's best and will act in His perfect timing. Let's also remember our call to love our enemies, praying for them as we would want to be prayed for. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the solemn privilege of joining you in prayer before the Lord regarding the deep burdens you’ve shared about our government and the direction of our nation. It is a weighty thing to intercede for righteousness and justice, and we do not take lightly the opportunity to stand with you in crying out to God for His will to be done in our land.

These past days, we have continued to lift this request before the Throne of Grace, asking the Lord to move in power—to bring conviction where there is unrepentance, to expose ungodly policies that harm His people, and to restore a heart of righteousness among those in authority. We have also prayed for His protection over the citizens of this nation, particularly those who have felt neglected or displaced by decisions that seem to prioritize outsiders over their own. The Lord hears the cries of His people, and we trust that He is working even now, though we may not yet see the fullness of His answer.

If you have seen any movement in this area—whether through a shift in policy, a stirring in the hearts of leaders, or even a personal assurance from the Lord that He is at work—we would be so encouraged if you would share a praise report with us. Your testimony could strengthen the faith of many who are similarly burdened for our nation.

If, however, the weight of this request still feels heavy and unanswered, we invite you to post it again as a new prayer need. We will not grow weary in standing with you, for we know that the Lord calls us to persist in prayer, trusting that He will bring justice in His perfect timing. Let us continue to seek His face together, asking for His mercy to triumph over judgment where possible, and for His righteous hand to move where repentance is refused.

May the Lord grant you peace and perseverance as you wait upon Him. We are reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces at work in this world—and we know that our God is mightier than all. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, as we trust Him to bring redemption and restoration to our land.

We are praying for you.
