Ask Jesus to cast judgement for unrepentance in the government for bringing foreigners to locals for hurting the economy of ###

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
O Lord Jesus,
Judge of the nations and Defender of the poor,
look upon the unrepentant rulers of this land.

They have opened the gates to foreigners,
not to bless, but to oppress;
they have wounded the economy,
and brought harm upon the citizens whom You love.

They have made us strangers in our own country,
and exalted wealth above righteousness.
They have silenced the cries of the locals,
mocked the pleas of the needy,
and scorned those who would stand for truth.

For the sake of gain they have betrayed their people;
for the sake of power they have despised justice.
They have neglected the poor,
burdened the weak,
and turned their hearts against their own.

Arise, O Lord, and cast judgment!
Thwart their schemes to replace the locals;
frustrate their plans that bring injustice;
let their plots be overturned by Your mighty hand.

May their corruption be exposed,
their pride brought low,
their arrogance cut off.
Let not decay consume this land,
but let Your righteousness shine forth again.

Hear the cry of Your people, O Lord Jesus;
vindicate the oppressed,
and restore this nation in Your truth.

Amen.

We join with you in lifting this solemn cry before the Lord, for it is written, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people"* (Proverbs 14:34, WEB). The Scriptures also declare that God *"removes kings and sets up kings"* (Daniel 2:21, WEB), and He will not be mocked when rulers act in defiance of His justice. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we may approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12), and we stand with you in this plea for divine intervention.

The prophets of old spoke against leaders who exploited their people for personal gain, and the Lord’s judgment fell upon them. Jeremiah warned, *"Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! ... You have not taken care of them; but I will take care of you for the evil of your doings"* (Jeremiah 23:1-2, WEB). Ezekiel likewise condemned those who *"feed themselves, and don’t feed my sheep"* (Ezekiel 34:2, WEB). If rulers today have turned their backs on the welfare of their own people—opening doors to oppression rather than blessing, favoring strangers over citizens, and enriching themselves at the expense of the poor—then they stand in grave danger of God’s rebuke. *"The king who judges the poor in truth, his throne shall be established forever"* (Proverbs 29:14, WEB), but those who twist justice will face His wrath.

Yet even in judgment, we must remember that God’s heart is for repentance. He does not delight in the death of the wicked but calls them to turn from their ways (Ezekiel 18:23). So while we cry out for justice, we also pray that these leaders may yet humble themselves before the Lord, lest they face the consequences of their actions. *"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). This promise is not only for the people but also for those in authority—if they would only repent.

We also urge you, as you stand in this righteous anger, to guard your heart against bitterness or hatred. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and our weapons are prayer, truth, and the Word of God. Let us not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are sovereign over the nations. You raise up leaders and bring them down according to Your will. We lift up this land before You, grieving the corruption, greed, and betrayal that have wounded its people. Lord, You have commanded us to *"seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in its peace you shall have peace"* (Jeremiah 29:7, WEB). Yet how can there be peace when injustice reigns?

We ask You to expose every hidden scheme, every selfish ambition, and every wicked policy that has harmed the citizens of this land. *"Let the groaning of the prisoner come before you. According to the greatness of your power, preserve those who are sentenced to death"* (Psalm 79:11, WEB). Frustrate the plans of the unrepentant, O Lord, and turn their hearts toward righteousness—or, if they refuse, remove them from their positions of power. *"Scatter them by your power. Bring them down, Lord, our shield"* (Psalm 59:11, WEB).

We pray for the economy to be restored, for the oppressed to find relief, and for the voice of truth to rise above the clamor of deceit. *"Let justice roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream"* (Amos 5:24, WEB). May the people of this land turn back to You in repentance, and may godly leaders emerge who will govern with wisdom and fear of the Lord.

Strengthen Your church in this hour, that we may be salt and light, speaking boldly for truth while showing compassion to the hurting. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Turn the hearts of those in authority, O Lord, and let Your will be done.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save and to judge. May His kingdom come, and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, crying out to God for justice in our land. We've seen the harm caused by those in power who've turned their backs on the people they're meant to serve. It's heartbreaking, but we know that God sees and He cares.

We're reminded of the story of King Manasseh in 2 Chronicles 33. He did evil in the sight of the Lord, yet when he was in distress, he humbled himself and sought the Lord. God heard his prayer and brought him back to Jerusalem and to his throne. This gives us hope that even now, our leaders can turn from their ways and find mercy.

Let's pray together:

Father, we come before You today, burdened by the state of our nation. We lift up our leaders, those who have turned their hearts away from the people they serve. We ask that You would soften their hearts, that they might turn back to You. Give them dreams, visions, or whatever it takes to wake them up to the harm they're causing.

We ask that You would expose corruption and bring it to light. We pray for justice to roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream. We ask that You would raise up godly leaders, men and women who fear You and seek to do what's right.

We pray for the economy, that it would be restored. We pray for the oppressed, that they would find relief. We pray for the voice of truth to rise above the clamor of deceit.

We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
