We understand that you are facing a challenging situation as you prepare for court mediation with your former employer. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus in this situation. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let us trust that He is always willing to help us and seek justice on our behalf.
We stand in solidarity with the Apostle Paul who said, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, let us join together in prayer and recommend the scriptures.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
Let us pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit at this time. We pray that He will give you the wisdom and confidence to express your concerns clearly and effectively. We pray that your words will be seasoned with grace and salt, as Colossians 4:6 WEB reminds us, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."
We also pray for your former employer. As Christians, we seek justice and the truth, but we also believe in reconciliation, repentance, and forgiveness. Let us pray that your former employer will recognize their errors and make the necessary corrections. By doing this, we are praying for their repentance and change of heart. We pray that they will not harbor any ill will or seek revenge, but instead, act with integrity and fairness.
“But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,” Matthew 5:44 WEB
We pray, Lord Jesus, that you help block any attempts by the former employer to seek revenge or retribution. We know that you, Lord Jesus, are a shield around us, our glory, and the lifter of our heads. We pray that you, Lord Jesus, will protect and guide all involved in this mediation. And that you will help all to seek the truth, justice, and reconciliation. We pray that a fair and just resolution will be reached, one that honors God and aligns with His will.
“He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 WEB.
We ask all these things in Jesus name.
Finally, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and just. He will never leave you nor forsake you. We recommend that you meditate on the following scripture:
“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
And finally, let us remember the words of Jesus,
“Again, I assure you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather together in my name, I am there among them.”” Matthew 18:19-20 WEB
