We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word, which is clear and unchanging. The doctrine of universal salvation—that all people will ultimately be saved regardless of their faith in Jesus Christ—is a dangerous deception that contradicts Scripture. The Bible explicitly warns that those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God. Jesus Himself said, *"Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it"* (Matthew 7:13-14 WEB). To teach that no one will face judgment is to deny the very words of Christ and the entirety of Scripture.
The apostle Paul also warned against those who distort the truth, saying, *"Now I urge you, brothers, to take note of those who create divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don’t serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent"* (Romans 16:17-18 WEB). We must reject false teachings that lead people away from the narrow path of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The truth is this: salvation is found in no one else but Jesus. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Those who preach a gospel that denies the reality of hell or the necessity of repentance and faith in Christ are leading people astray. The Bible is clear that without Christ, there is no hope of eternal life. *"He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him"* (John 3:36 WEB).
We rebuke this false doctrine in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other path to the Father except through Him. To those who spread such deception, we say: repent and turn back to the truth of God’s Word before it is too late. The day of judgment will come, and those who have rejected Christ will face the consequences of their unbelief.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts grieved by the spread of false teachings that lead people away from the truth of Your Word. We ask that You would open the eyes of those who have been deceived by the lie of universal salvation. Lord, we pray that You would grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of the truth. Protect Your people from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to distort the gospel and lead many astray. Strengthen us to stand firm on the foundation of Your Word and to boldly proclaim the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
We pray for those who are teaching these false doctrines, that You would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. May they turn from their deception and embrace the true gospel, which offers salvation to all who believe in Your Son. Father, we ask that You would raise up faithful servants who will preach the unadulterated Word of God, so that many may hear and be saved. Guard the hearts of Your people from error, and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may discern truth from deception.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. Amen.
