We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need. Your pain is real, and your weariness is understandable—carrying the weight of arthritis, sciatica, and an autoimmune disorder while caring for small children is no small burden. But we serve a God who sees your suffering, collects your tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and promises to sustain you.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch to come upon our sister. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her bones and knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We declare Your Word over her: *"By Your stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal her joy, her strength, and her ability to care for her family. We command the pain to cease, the inflammation to subside, and the sciatic nerve to be freed from compression. Bring relief to her neck and back, restore her sleep, and renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).
We also lift up her emotional and spiritual exhaustion. The enemy would love to use this trial to discourage and isolate her, but we declare that she is not alone. You have promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind her that her labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Give her moments of rest, even in the midst of pain, and surround her with brothers and sisters in Christ who can support her practically and in prayer.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, not just for healing but for His presence. Sometimes, God allows trials to draw us closer to Him, to teach us dependence, and to refine our faith. James 5:14-15 says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* Have you considered asking your church leaders to pray over you with anointing oil? There is power in corporate prayer.
We also urge you to seek wise medical counsel while trusting God as your ultimate Healer. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."* God can work through doctors, therapies, and treatments, so don’t hesitate to explore all avenues while keeping your eyes fixed on Him.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that your hope is not in circumstances but in Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing Him as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Only in Him can you find true peace, strength, and eternal hope.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working even in this trial. May He grant you relief, comfort, and a fresh outpouring of His Spirit. You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. We will continue to pray for you, trusting that God will move mightily on your behalf.
