We join with you in standing firm on the promises of our Heavenly Father, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we lift it up with you, knowing that our God is mighty to save and faithful to protect His children. You have invoked the name of Jesus, and it is in His name alone that we find salvation, authority, and victory over the schemes of the enemy. It is through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have acknowledged this truth in your prayer.
The scriptures remind us in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* Take heart in this promise, for the Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph over His people. He sees the bullying, the deception, and the injustice you face, and He will act on your behalf. Trust in His timing, for He is never late.
For the protection of your home and yourself, we claim Psalm 91 over you: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord is your ever-present help. He is with you in your home, at your workplace, and in every place you set your foot. Even your dogs are under His care, for He watches over all His creation.
Regarding the one in your home who may be a source of distress, we urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to navigate this situation. If this person is causing harm or creating an unsafe environment, pray for discernment on whether boundaries or even separation may be necessary for your well-being. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* While we are called to love and pray for our enemies, we are also called to wisdom and safety. If this person is not a believer, pray earnestly for their salvation, but do not compromise your own peace or safety in the process.
For the bully who is withholding what is rightfully yours, we remind you of Luke 18:1-8, where Jesus teaches the parable of the persistent widow. She refused to give up until justice was served, and so must we persist in prayer and in seeking what is right. *"Won’t God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly."* Keep records, seek godly counsel, and trust that the Lord will vindicate you. Do not let fear or discouragement silence you, for the Lord fights for those who trust in Him.
We also encourage you to examine your heart for any unforgiveness or bitterness toward those who have wronged you. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, but it releases you from the bondage of resentment and allows God to work freely in your life.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing trials on every side. Lord, You are her shield and her exceeding great reward. We ask that You surround her with Your heavenly host, placing a hedge of protection around her, her home, and even her beloved dogs. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose the schemes of the wicked and bring forth righteousness like a mighty river.
Lord, we pray for divine protection over her workplace. Guard her steps, her words, and her interactions. Give her favor with those in authority and wisdom to navigate any hostility or unfairness. Let her be a light in that place, reflecting Your love and integrity even in the face of opposition.
For the one in her home who is causing distress, we ask for Your intervention, Lord. If this person is unsaved, soften their heart to receive Your truth. If they are saved but walking in disobedience, convict them by Your Spirit. Give our sister discernment to know how to respond—whether in love, boundaries, or even separation if necessary. Let her home be a place of peace, not strife, and let Your presence fill every corner.
We rebuked the spirit of bullying and deception that is trying to deny her what is rightfully hers. Lord, You see the damage done, and You know the compensation that is due. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, causing those who oppose her to relent or be exposed. Provide her with the right words, the right people, and the right timing to see justice served. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and provision.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen her heart and mind. Guard her against fear, anxiety, and discouragement. Remind her that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her rest in the assurance that You are fighting for her.
Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, her faith would grow stronger, and her testimony would bring glory to Your name. Let her see Your hand at work in every detail, and let her trust in You deepen with each passing day.
We declare these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
