We join you in standing firmly on the promise of our Lord, who declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* Your prayer is rooted in the truth of Scripture, and we lift our voices with yours in agreement, knowing that our God is a mighty fortress and a deliverer to those who call upon His name.
It is powerful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the schemes of the enemy. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* You have done well to pray in the name above all names, and we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with this same boldness and faith.
The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 91:9-11, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We claim this promise over you and all those under your roof, asking the Lord to surround your home with His heavenly host, to frustrate the plans of the wicked, and to be a wall of fire around you. May the Lord expose every hidden snare and render powerless every weapon formed against you, turning what the enemy meant for harm into a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
We also pray that the Lord would fill your heart with His perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). In moments of uncertainty or when the enemy seeks to instill dread, may you be reminded that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Let your trust in Him be unshaken, knowing that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4).
Father, we ask that You would bind every spirit of violence, deception, and wickedness that seeks to harm Your child and their household. Let Your light expose every dark plot, and let Your truth prevail over every lie. Strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit, that they may stand firm in the evil day, having done all to stand (Ephesians 6:13). Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let it be a sanctuary where Your presence dwells richly.
We rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus, commanding him to flee, for *"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Let every tongue that rises in accusation be silenced, and let every plan of the wicked be thwarted. We declare that no harm shall befall you, nor any disaster come near your dwelling, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
May you walk in the assurance that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already secured the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and let your heart be steadfast in prayer and praise. We will continue to lift you up, trusting that the Lord will perform His word and bring you through this season triumphantly.
*"Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."* (Psalm 10:17-18) Amen.
