Harold
Faithful Servant
I apologise for any confusion that I have caused in my last post. The Lord put something on my heart, and I completely messed up in trying to relay that message. Over the last couple of days, I would try to pray wih some request, and He would tell me that He did not know the person who was making the request, meaning that they did not have a personal relationship with Him. That was what I was trying to say about missing the real blessing, they pray for blessings in their lives, but are missing the most important blessing in life, the blessing of having Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, there is nothing more important than that.
The other thing He laid upon me, was how some are believers but not followers. They believe He is God, but for various reasons do not follow Him. They too are missing the real blessing, a daily walk with our Lord.
Some people easily believe that God grants blessings, but pay no heed to the other parts of that promise, the prerequisites, repentence of their sins, seeking the kingdom of God, a personal relationship with the Lord. All are needed to truly get in the will of God and to receive His blessings.
And to be honest, some are just rude, demanding Him to do something right now, and just how He is supposed to do it. I'm not talking about the prayer of faith, I'm talking about coming to Him with no thanks in their hearts, no praise, no respect, and demanding blessings from God. He will not be mocked, bossed around, bullied, or pushed into doing anything. He is the Lord, and He will be treated with respect. I know that there will be some who think that I am being judgemental or putting on a holier than thou attitude, but I have no judgement on anyone, that is for God. But is it better to point out to someone and maybe hurt their feelings that all is not right in their walk, or ignore what God is telling you to say, and let that person continue in their death march. I am not pointing to anyone, I'm just following His lead and putting it here for the Holy Spirit to lead those who He wants to read this.
