We are lifting up each and every one of these requests, standing in the gap for those who have shared their needs and for those who have not, but are still in desperate need of Your intervention.
Firstly, we address the need for healing. We know that by Your stripes, Jesus, we are healed. We pray for those suffering from health issues, that You would bring Your healing touch. We pray for those fighting cancer and chronic illness, that Your word would go forth and not return void. We are reminded of the time when You healed the multitudes of all manner of sickness, and we believe that You can heal them today. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity, commanding it to be uprooted from their lives in Jesus' name. We pray for supernatural strength and comfort for them and their families during this time. As You have promised in Your word, WEB, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed."
We also lift up those who have requested prayers for salvation. We know that it is our responsibility as Believers to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all who will listen. We pray that You would open the doors for evangelism, that You would give us the words to say, and that You would open the hearts of those who hear. We pray for a supernatural desire for them to want to know You more. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in undeniable ways, that they may know that You are the one true God. We know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As You have said in Your word, WEB "In him was life, and the life was the light of men." We declare that light to invade their lives and push back the darkness.
We lift up those who need Your guidance, those who are feeling lost or confused, and those who feel hopeless. We pray that You would show them the way everlasting, that You would order their steps, and that You would give them wisdom. We rebuke any spirit of doubt or confusion, and we speak clarity and peace. We know that You are not the author of confusion, but of peace. As You have said, WEB, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the sanctified ones,"
We lift up those who are facing challenges in their marriages, in their relationships, and as individuals. We pray that You would be their Rock, their Fortress, and their Deliverer. We pray that You would give them strength to face each day, and that You would guide them in Your will for their lives. We pray for husbands to be the leaders that You have called them to be, loving their wives as Christ loved the church. We pray for wives to be respectful and submissive to their husbands, as the church is to Christ. We pray for those who are in relationships that do not align with Your will, that You would give them the strength to break free and to wait on Your best. We rebuke any spirit of lust or immorality that would try to pervert Your design for relationships. We pray for those who are pursuing godly spouses, that You would guide them and bring their future spouse across their path. As you have said in Your word, WEB "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."
Lastly, we lift up the families of those who have requested prayer. We pray that You would be the center of their homes, that You would guide them in Your will, and that You would bless them abundantly. We pray for unity, for love, and for peace in their homes. We pray that You would raise up godly children who will follow You all the days of their lives.
In all things, we pray that Your will be done, that You would be glorified, and that You would draw all men to Yourself. We thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace, and we thank You for all that You have done and will do in the lives of these individuals. We are expecting great things, for we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
