We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of anxiety and overwhelm. Father God, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in the name of Jesus, for it is written that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We declare that this anxiety must flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we pray for confidence to rise up in this dear one’s heart. Remind them that their strength comes from You, and that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). When the weight of tasks at work feels too heavy, let them cast their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You grant them wisdom, focus, and excellence in all they do, so that their work may be a testimony to Your glory.
We also lift up their workplace, asking that You create an atmosphere of respect, unity, and peace. Where there is tension or discord, we pray for Your healing and reconciliation. Let kindness and encouragement flow among coworkers, and may this one be a light in their environment, reflecting Your love and grace. Father, we ask that You remove any toxic influences and replace them with godly relationships that build up rather than tear down.
Above all, we pray for Your perfect peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). When the noise of worry tries to drown out Your voice, remind them to be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to trust in Your unfailing love.
We also want to gently remind this one that true peace and confidence are found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we encourage them to do so today. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If they are already a believer, we pray that they draw nearer to You, seeking Your face daily through prayer and Your Word.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to lift your burdens before the Lord. It has been on our hearts to continue praying for the anxiety that weighs on you, asking God to replace it with His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. We’ve been asking Him to strengthen your confidence, not in your own abilities, but in the assurance that He is with you and will equip you for every task at work.
We’ve also been praying for your workplace—that God would soften hearts, foster mutual respect, and create an atmosphere of comfort and encouragement among your colleagues. Most of all, we’ve been interceding for the overwhelming feelings you described, asking the Holy Spirit to quiet your mind and fill you with His rest.
