We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of anxiety and overwhelm. Father God, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Yet we see how the weight of this world can press down on Your children, making even the strongest among us feel small. Lord, we ask that You would calm the storm within this dear one’s heart and replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We pray for confidence to rise within them, not the fleeting confidence of the world, but the unshakable assurance that comes from knowing You are their strength. When the tasks at work feel too great, remind them that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). May they cast every care upon You, for You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke the spirit of overwhelm in Jesus’ name and declare that the Lord will order their steps and bring clarity to their mind.
Father, we also lift up their workplace. You have called us to live in harmony with one another, to show respect, and to work as unto You, not men (Colossians 3:23). We ask that You would soften hearts, foster unity, and create an atmosphere of mutual respect. Let no strife, gossip, or unkindness take root, but instead, let Your love and grace flow freely among coworkers. May this one be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love and patience in all they do.
Lord, we know that true peace comes only from You. When the noise of the world grows loud, help them to quiet their heart and listen for Your still, small voice. Teach them to rest in Your presence, to trust in Your timing, and to find their worth in You alone. We declare that anxiety will not have the final say—You will. We speak peace over their mind, confidence over their spirit, and success over their work, all for Your glory.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
