We understand the heavy burden anxiety can place upon your heart, especially in the workplace where so much of your time and energy is invested. The Lord does not desire for His children to live in fear, but to walk in the confidence and peace that only He can provide. Let us first address the absence of the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is through His name alone that we approach the throne of God, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, true peace cannot be found, for He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance. The Lord commands us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Your anxiety is not unseen by Him, and He invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Confidence does not come from within yourself, but from trusting in the One who has called you and equipped you for every good work (2 Timothy 1:7).
Regarding the bully at your workplace, Scripture reminds us that *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). You are not to fear those who seek to intimidate or harm you, for the Lord is your defender. Jesus teaches us to *"love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean you must endure abuse without action, but that your heart should be free from bitterness, trusting God to vindicate you in His timing. If possible, seek wise counsel on how to address this situation, whether through proper channels at work or by setting godly boundaries. Remember, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18, WEB).
For your working environment, we pray that God would soften hearts and foster a spirit of mutual respect and kindness. *"Let all things be done decently and in order"* (1 Corinthians 14:40, WEB), and may the Lord grant you favor in the sight of your supervisors and colleagues. As you perform your tasks, do so *"as to the Lord, and not to men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). Your ultimate approval comes from Him, not from man.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace. Lord Jesus, You calmed the storm with a word, and we ask that You would speak peace into their heart and mind today. Remove every spirit of fear and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them confidence that comes from trusting in You alone.
Father, we pray for their workplace, that You would create an atmosphere of respect, kindness, and cooperation. Soften the hearts of those around them, especially the one who has acted as a bully. Lord, we ask that You would convict this person of their actions and bring them to repentance. Give our brother/sister wisdom in how to respond, and protect them from further harm. May Your presence be a shield around them, and may they walk in the assurance that You are their defender.
We pray for excellence in all they do, Father. Bless the work of their hands and grant them favor with those in authority. Help them to work heartily, as unto You, knowing that their labor is not in vain. Strengthen them for each task, and may their efforts bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy to steal their joy, peace, or confidence. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with Your love, Father, and let it overflow to those around them, even to those who may not treat them kindly.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the victory that is already theirs through the blood of Jesus. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Stand firm in the truth that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). When anxiety rises, speak Scripture over your situation and trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, consider memorizing verses that combat fear and anxiety, such as Joshua 1:9 (*"Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go"*) and Psalm 23:4 (*"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me"*).
Stay rooted in prayer, and do not hesitate to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your life. You are not alone in this battle—the Lord is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
