We understand that you're feeling anxious and desire confidence and peace at your workplace. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work and emotions. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We also need to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God, our loving Father. We think it's wonderful that you ended with "Amen", which means "so be it", but we must call on the name of Jesus, as there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) Not only that, but it is by His stripes that we are healed, (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24) including emotionally and mentally. Please seriously consider these scriptures and your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with anxiety. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask You to fill them with Your perfect love, which drives out fear, 1 John 4:18 WEB.
We know that the Lord will perfect that which concerns them, Psalm 138:8 WEB, which includes their confidence at work and performance in all their tasks. We declare that Christ has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. We pray for a comfortable working environment, one filled with respect and kindness, as we are all instructed to treat one another with kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness, just as God through Christ has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for increased confidence and the ability to excel at work. We declare that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them, Philippians 4:13 WEB. We ask that Your favor will surround them as a shield, and that You will lift up their head, Psalm 3:3 WEB.
Lord, please guide them into a deeper relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help them to know that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard not only their heart, but their mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7 WEB.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. Amen.
