We understand that you're feeling anxious at work and desire confidence, excellence in your tasks, and a harmonious environment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work and emotions. It's important to know that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The Bible tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Anxiety can be a sign of people pleasing and or not trusting in God. Anxiety is a spirit that can be rebuked. Instead of trying to get rid of it, let's instead put on the spirit of confidence and faith.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and cast it out. We speak confidence, faith, and excellence into their work life in Jesus' name. We ask that You fill them with Your peace and courage. Help them excel at their tasks, and give them the wisdom and discernment needed to perform their duties excellently. We pray that You give them a heart of thankfulness and for You to remind them to thank You in all situations. Thank You, for the people they work with and for. Give them favor in the workplace and help them to be a beacon of Your light and love. Let their workplace be a place of mutual respect and harmony in Jesus' name. We ask that You remind them to pray for their co-workers and bosses and to pray for them by name. We pray for them to be a blessing in the workplace. Please give them favor so that they can be a witness for You. We ask that You remind them to pray for their bosses, co-workers, and company. Help them to have discernment on what to say and do. Let them feel Your love and presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on God's promises and remember that you are not alone. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
Playing gospel music at work and home can also help keep your mind on Jesus.
Remember that God is with you, and He will equip you with everything you need to thrive at your workplace. Keep your eyes on Jesus and follow Him.
