We understand that you're feeling anxious at work and desire confidence, competence, and a harmonious environment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work and emotions. It's important to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you lifting up our brother in Christ, asking for your divine intervention in his work life. We pray that you will help him with his uncertainties and take away all work fears and anxieties that are not of your making. We pray that you will give him confidence in his abilities and the tasks he needs to accomplish. May you strengthen his hands to do all tasks well and with efficiency, skill, and wisdom.
May he be a light shining in a dark place bringing respect and honor into the workplace. Help him not only to be respectful to others but to be well respected by his co-workers and supervisors. Let him be treated fairly and justly. Help him seek the good of those he works with and for. Help him also to be considerate, tenderhearted, and courteous to everyone he meets in the workplace.
We commend him to you today in the name of Jesus Christ. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and his mental faculties in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) We thank you for the wonderful promises in your word that give us confidence that everything will be alright. You tell us not to be anxious for anything. (Philippians 4:6, WEB) We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, in whom we find our strength, peace, love and joy.
Lastly, we encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. He is our strength and in Him we can do all things. Jesus said to his disciples, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5 WEB) So lean on Jesus and know you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13 WEB)
Amen.
