Anxiety Is Controlling My Life

Good Evening,

I have a very unusual prayer request. I work in a very high stress career and the anxiety is really getting to me. I find myself unable to get a good nights sleep and I feel like I am living life on the edge. I have asked God to help me with what I am going through. Since praying about my anxiety and work stress I have seen a huge change in my life. Today was a terrible day and I feel like I need someone praying along side of me. God knows what I am going through and that I really worry about the smallest things. I have always been a person to worry and that always leads to unnecessary anxiety. Play pray that God will see me through this and help me reduce stress and anxiety naturally in my life.

Your anxiety will never lessen unless you trust Him; He has a plan for you, His beloved child, but you must trust in Him if He is to perform His good work in your life. It is hard to trust, but the Lord did not mean for us to carry our burdens ourselves; He asks us to allow Him to carry these burdens, and, once we let Him do so, leave all the consequences of carrying them to Him. I have/am praying for you. Unmonitored stress brings anxiety, which is NOT OF GOD!!!! And the more we allow the fear to consume us, the more we open the door to the demonic. I don't want to sound over dramatic....just HONEST. We live under New Testiment law, and that includes oppression and demonic attack. And once it attacks your sleep, you HAVE to stay on top of it thru prayer and changing your behaviors. FORCE yourself to cut your hours back....it's mental health over financial health. God will PROVIDE. Forgive those at work who despise you or make your job more difficult. Pray for them nightly. I memorized a handful of scriptures on sleep rest. Your body can go without food, even water for a time, but not sleep. There is a reason we know that God rested, that Christ retreated alone---God wanted us to know it's importance. WOW! I'm sorry....did I just say too much? I learned this one the hard way, and a little too late. Workaholic here, whose stress induced fears cost me a lot. I had to start off with Ambien (and I hate meds), but I had to start with a sleeping pill to ensure if I got nothing else I got sleep. And I started working on everything else. Prayer, prayer, prayer. One of those things you don't do enough when you work, work, work

Dear Lord,

I know what anxiety can do to someone. Please help this man find some relief from what stresses him. Lift his burdens and guide him to cope with times of stress.

Allow me to give you some scripture. Put these on notecards and put them in your pocket. Repeat them many times a day and you will be amazed. Also being glory to Christ by telling the world you believe in Him. Christ will hear you telling the world of your joy and happiness and He will deliver you from anxiety. Here are some quotes:
