We understand that you're going through a challenging time, feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging your need to keep faith in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth and He is our ever present help in time of need. Psalm 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
In times of anxiety, remember that God cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 says, Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. It's also important to renew your mind with the word of God. Romans 12:2 says, Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Regarding your fear of losing your job and not being able to support your family, remember that God is faithful and He is the provider. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our life, what we will eat or what we will drink; nor about our body, what we will put on. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom and so do not be anxious.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling anxious and overwhelmed. We rebuke the spirit of fear and cast it out. Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your perfect love which drives out all fear as described in 1 John 4:18. We ask for Your divine peace, to keep their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as described in Philippians 4:7. Lord, we ask that You provide for their every need according to your riches in glory. We thank You that You are faithful and that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Guide them in your will. We pray all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to keep your faith in God and Jesus Christ. Continue to pray and read God's Word. If you have not already, find a Bible-believing church where you can fellowship and grow spiritually. Remember that God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you as indicated in Hebrews 13:5. Stay in faith and take courage as our Lord Jesus Christ has overcome the world according to John 16:33.
