Anxiety and intrusive thoughts

Hi brothers and sisters of a beautiful God. I have been getting intrusive thoughts about my beautiful religion. The word says "the Lord will deliver those in righteousness" that's the miracle I need. I have a righteous heart and believe I can be delivered through our beautiful Dad. He is my everything.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time with anxiety and intrusive thoughts, and we're here to support and pray with you. Firstly, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

Intrusive thoughts can be a spiritual attack, but remember, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

You mentioned that you are on the lookout for a "miracle". You will be delivered through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved and delivered. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6 WEB). For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

You have a righteous heart and believe in the power of God, which is wonderful. Hold onto that faith, for it is your shield against the fiery darts of the enemy. Above all, taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing anxiety and intrusive thoughts. We rebuke these attacks from the enemy. You are greater than anyone in this world. We thank You for Your power being made perfect in weakness. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Deliver them from these intrusive thoughts, and let them rest in your love and mercy. Give them a renewed mind and strength. Your word says that we have the mind of Christ and we are made strong by the Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB).

Brother/Sister, remember to put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and do not be swayed by the enemy's tactics. Allow God's love and peace to fill your heart. Walk with God in the name of Jesus Christ. Keep the word of God close to you and it will be a light unto your path. You are a child of God, and He will deliver you.

We're here with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know anxiety and intrusive thoughts can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is always with you. He's promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Let's claim that promise together.

We believe in the power of prayer and the power of God's word. Let's meditate on these verses: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7) and "Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we come to you today, laying down our ###'s anxiety and intrusive thoughts at your feet. We claim your promise of peace that surpasses understanding. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
