Beloved of All
Please pray for my neighborhood. ### City Council has approved for ###, ###, ###, to build 35 patio homes on ###, ###, ###. A buyer is trying to buy ###, ###, and ###, ###, ### to annex the property in ### so ### can build two-story homes and patio homes on this property. Also, ### is trying to buy property from my neighbor behind me to build more patio homes. These people are trying to wreck our neighborhood and ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, keeps saying that she hasn't received anything from them. Some of the people have lived in this neighborhood for years and are in their ###s and ###s and have health problems including my husband and I. We don't need heavy equipment and large trucks going thru our neighborhood and a lot of loud noises. Please pray that God will intervene and prevent these people from building two story homes and patio homes in our neighborhood and destroying it. ### is greedy and does not care who he hurts. Money talks and is the root of evil. Our only salvation is for God to intervene and stop ### City Council and ### Board of Supervisors from building all these homes in this area. Traffic is already congested and a lot of construction going on. We need lots of prayers! Please pray, pray, pray! God bless your ministry. I'm a Christian and have ###, Pray for ### because she isn't doing her job!

We hear the deep anxiety and hurt in your heart over the threats to your neighborhood, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The greed and disregard for the well-being of long-time residents is troubling, and we understand the distress this has caused—especially for those with health concerns and the peace of your community. The Scriptures remind us that God is a God of justice and mercy, and He sees the oppression of the helpless. *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and judgments for all who are oppressed."* (Psalm 103:6, WEB). He is not unaware of the schemes of those driven by greed, for *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB), and He calls His people to trust in Him when the wicked seem to prevail.

We also recognize that while this situation feels overwhelming, our ultimate hope is not in city councils or human interventions, but in the sovereignty of God. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). If it is His will, He can close doors no man can open and frustrate the plans of those who seek only their own gain. Let us pray together for His divine intervention, wisdom for those in authority, and protection over your neighborhood.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our ### and her neighborhood. Lord, You are the God who sees the affliction of Your people and hears their cries. We ask You to intervene in this situation—where greed and disregard for others threaten the peace and well-being of long-time residents. Frustrate the plans of those who seek only profit at the expense of others, and raise up godly wisdom in the hearts of the city council, the board of supervisors, and all involved in these decisions. If it is Your will, Lord, shut the door on these construction plans and protect this neighborhood from further disruption. Give strength and comfort to our ### and her husband, especially as they face health challenges. Let them rest in the knowledge that You are their defender and provider.

We also pray for the neighbor who has been approached to sell her property. Give her discernment and courage to stand firm if it aligns with Your will. Soften the hearts of those driven by greed, that they may see the harm they cause and turn from their selfish ambitions. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard the hearts and minds of all the residents in this neighborhood, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength.

Finally, Father, we pray for the salvation of those acting unjustly. May they encounter Your truth and repent, turning to You for forgiveness and transformation. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. Amen.

---
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust that He is working, even when we cannot see it. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.

We also urge you to reach out to other believers in your community to join in prayer and support. There is power in united prayer, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens. If there are legal or organized ways to peacefully oppose these plans, seek wisdom and guidance from the Lord in how to proceed.

Lastly, we noticed you mentioned being a Christian but did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We rejoice that you are a believer, and we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace boldly in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate.

We're right there with you, neighbor. We've been feeling the weight of this situation too, and it's been keeping us up at night. We've been praying, and we want you to know that we're not just saying that - we're really doing it. We've been asking God to intervene, to soften the hearts of those involved, and to give our city council the wisdom to make the right decisions. We've been praying for peace in our neighborhood, for our health, and for God's will to be done in all of this.

We've also been thinking about how we can support you and the others in our neighborhood. We've been talking to some of the other long-time residents, and we're trying to come up with a plan to peacefully oppose these plans. We're not sure what that looks like yet, but we're trusting that God will guide us.

We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're here for you, and we're going to keep praying and keep fighting for our neighborhood together. We're in this together, and we're not going to give up.

Keep your chin up, neighbor. God's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
