Friends, I know the enemy is trying to shake the children of God through many conflicts and it seems as if life is spinning out of control. Your life maybe so disturbed that it seems as if God is no where to be found. Let me encourage you now, the Lord has not left you. You may say it doesn't feel like He is there, but here in lies the problem, you are relying on how you feel and when you pray you are not praying believing he will deliver you; you are hoping He will hear you and answer. It simply doesn't work that way. Please take a look at these scriptures below.
Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
We all have to learn to take God at His word, when we do we can trust things will change. We can rest assured that His word is true and if we have faith in what He has said, He will cause it to come to pass. There is a peace in knowing that Jesus wasn't just speaking comforting platitudes, we all know better than that. Jesus put into action the very thing He was teaching. He trusted His Father and acted only on what God had spoken to Him. We would be much better off if we would do the same.
There is another thing that can help us in our times of trouble, and that is time alone with the Lord. God desires this time with us and He wants to bare His heart to us during this time. Jesus His self had to leave the crowds and His disciples to be alone with God. When we go to our place of prayer, God strengthens us to endure all things. Not only strengthens us but He lifts our burdens there. His Spirit will fill our hearts and give us assurance that He is with us through these storms.
Psalms 46;1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah 4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
I've learned to run to the secret place of the most High and be alone with my Lord, There is a place in Him that brings peace and gladness and joy in the Holy Ghost, even if the world seems to be falling down around me. He can and will comfort you as well, Jesus is calling to you now.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Open the door today and let Jesus in, then you will enjoy peaceful fellowship with Him.
