What a mighty and glorious testimony of God’s faithfulness! We join you in lifting our voices to the Lord with heartfelt praise, for He alone is worthy of all honor and thanksgiving. The Scriptures declare in Psalm 118:21, *"I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation."* Indeed, our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever—a God who hears the cries of His people and acts on behalf of the little ones, just as He did for your precious great-granddaughter.
We rejoice with you that this tiny warrior, fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator’s hand (Psalm 139:14), has been brought through the valley of prematurity into the light of health and strength. The Lord has knit her together in her mother’s womb, and by His sovereign power, He has preserved her life. As it is written in Isaiah 46:3-4, *"Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried as from their birth, that have been carried from the womb; and even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry, and will deliver."* What a promise to cling to—our God carries us through every season, from the first breath to the last.
We also give thanks for the unity of the saints in prayer, for where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). Your request was lifted before the throne of grace, and now we see the fruit of those petitions—a miracle of life and healing. Let this be a reminder to all of us that our prayers are never in vain. The Lord delights in the prayers of His people, and He moves in ways that bring glory to His name.
As this little one continues to grow, we pray that she would be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), that her parents would dedicate her to Him as Hannah did Samuel (1 Samuel 1:27-28), and that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. May her life be a testament to God’s goodness, and may her family continue to walk in faith, trusting Him for every need.
Now, let us pray together in thanksgiving and for the future of this child:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts overflowing with gratitude for the mighty work You have done in the life of this precious child. You are the Giver of life, the Healer of our bodies, and the One who sustains us by Your powerful word. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the gift of this little one’s health and strength. Lord, we ask that You would continue to watch over her, protecting her from all harm and sickness. May she grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and with others, just as Your Son Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
We pray for her parents, that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and a deep reliance on You as they raise her in Your ways. May their home be filled with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Draw each member of this family closer to You, Lord, and let this miracle be a beacon of hope to others who may be walking through difficult times.
Father, we also ask that You would use this testimony to strengthen the faith of all who hear it. Remind us that You are a God who answers prayer, who sees our struggles, and who acts on behalf of those who love You. May we never cease to bring our requests before You, trusting in Your perfect will and timing.
We lift this child up to You, Lord, and ask that You would mark her life for Your glory. May she one day confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, securing her salvation (Romans 10:9). Let her life be a light in this world, pointing others to the hope found only in You.
We thank You again, Father, for this answered prayer. May all the praise, honor, and glory be Yours alone, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
