Thank you for reaching out with your concerns and for praying in Jesus' name. We are here to help guide you through these issues biblically.
Firstly, it is commendable that you chose not to participate in activities that support what the Bible calls sin, such as the LGBT community. As followers of Christ, we are called to be set apart and holy, not conforming to the patterns of this world. As it is written, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" Romans 12:2 (WEB).
Regarding the situations you encountered at your workplace, it is important to remember that we are to stand for truth and righteousness, but also to act with wisdom and love. When you see injustice, slander, or improper behavior, it is appropriate to report it to the proper authorities, as long as it does not cause you to act in sin. As God told us in 1 Peter 2:20 (WEB), "For what credit is there if, when you sin and are beaten, you endure it? But when you do well and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is commendable before God."
However, we are also called to be wise and discreet. In the case of the inappropriate pictures and threatening messages, it would have been wise to document these incidents and report them to a higher authority or human resources department. As it is written in Matthew 10:16 (WEB) "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."
Regarding your boss's behavior, it is important to pray for her and to treat her with respect and love, as difficult as that may be. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you". Additionally, the scripture says in 1 Peter 2:18 (WEB), "Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked". However, if her actions were putting animals or people in danger, it was your duty to report her to the proper authorities.
In all these situations, it is crucial to act with integrity and to seek God's will through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Remember that God is always with you, and He will give you the strength and wisdom to face any challenge. As it says in the scripture, "For I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister who is seeking guidance and wisdom. We pray that You would grant her discernment and courage to act according to Your will in all situations. We pray for her former workplace, that You would bring conviction and repentance to those who are acting in sin. We pray for her boss, that You would soften her heart and bring her to a saving knowledge of You.
We thank You for Your faithfulness and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church and pastor that you can go to for guidance and fellowship. It is important to be surrounded by a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. As the scripture says in Hebrews 10:25 (WEB), "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching".
