Yesterday my step son came to me and we had a really good "mother" / son talk...His biological mom is back in his life and I am very grateful for that but she is a sinner and she puts her "views" of "many" things onto this child's. He is 17 and has been with us since he was 6. His mom was not in the picture at all with raising him she was in jail (she comes from a very wealthy family). When she was there we allowed him to go see her and that is where their relationship began...
I get that she doesn't know any better but continue to pray for her Jacqueline (she is loopy on top of sin, if you know what I mean). When I think her values and morals and integrity are taking hold in my stepsons life God blows ME away.
I am so grateful for the discussion we had yesterday and I have to say I am quite relieved to his answers...he is still 17!....
I KNOW and convinced that this conversation took place because I put his mom up here on the board for prayer a couple days ago. Prayer is a powerful tool a gift from God...again I feel so humble before Him and for what He does for me...without me even knowing...
I thank You Lord for calming my concerns and setting me straight that You are way more powerful than his moms encouragements promoting her demons. Father forgive my unbelief...I repent and thank You for setting me straight about Jr and myself. I thank You for keeping Your hand on him and I thank You for making his path straight in Your way and in Your time. Thank You Jesus for setting a hedge of protection around him and thank You Lord for giving him a new mind and spirit that is founded on You continue to guide Jr. and use him for Your glory...let him stand in obedience to Your word. Lord in Jesus name...
