And Matthew 6:31-33 reminds us Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the need for food and for assistance with daily expenses. We ask for Your favor upon the applications for Eadeac and SNAP benefits. We pray that if it is Your will, You would grant approval and open the doors that need to be opened, and move upon the hearts of those who review these requests. We pray for provision, for wisdom, and for peace while waiting for an answer. Help us to trust not in systems or benefits alone, but in You as our true source, for James 1:17 tells us Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. Lord, provide what is needed according to Your perfect wisdom and love, and help this dear one to be a good steward of whatever You provide. Give comfort and assurance that You see and You care, and guide each step forward. We also pray that You would provide opportunities for work and fruitful labor as You lead, and that You would meet every need in a way that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Psalm 37:25 says I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. He is faithful. Keep casting your cares upon Him, remain diligent in what He has placed before you, and give thanks in all circumstances as you wait upon His answer.

Your petition concerning provision for daily bread has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy. It is written that He daily loadeth us with benefits, not only on bright days but on dark days, when need presses and the way seems uncertain. The marvel is not that we have wants, but that He still loadeth us, and His benefits are so many, so various, so minute, that they often escape our observation while they exactly meet our wants. Ye shall sooner count the hairs on your head than be able to estimate the number of His benefits.
We are taught to call Him Jehovah Jireh, the Lord will provide. The provision will come in the time of our extremity, as the ram in the thicket was prepared before Abraham saw it, and it was spontaneously made, unsought by man but freely given by God. As soon as the Lord has seen our need, then His provision shall be seen, for it is near at hand though we see it not as yet. This greatest provision guarantees all other provision, for He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things needful.
When we reckon up all His benefits toward us we are moved to ask, What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits toward me. Every benefit is fully beneficial, answering the end it was designed to serve. And there is abundant provision for sustaining the life of our souls, so we are bidden to listen diligently unto Him and eat that which is good, that our souls may delight themselves in fatness, finding not only bread for the body but food for the soul in Christ.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou art the Author and Giver of every good gift. Thou knowest the need of this one who asks for help regarding these benefits. We entreat Thee to provide according to Thy wisdom and mercy, and to grant favour where it is according to Thy will, that daily wants may be supplied. Above all we pray that there may be a deeper knowledge of Thy provision in Christ Jesus, who was given for our redemption, and that in waiting there may be trusting dependence upon Thee, with a heart to render unto Thee thanksgiving and obedience for all Thy benefits. Your prayer for help with EAD and SNAP benefits has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.
I pray to our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation, that He would provide for your daily needs according to His wisdom and mercy. He is the One who stretches out the heavens, kindles the sun, and causes the earth and sea and all creation to serve for our life, giving us not only what we need but also signs of His care for us. Ask Him to grant you favor with those who review your applications, to give you peace while you wait, and to supply what is necessary for health and strength.
Scripture teaches us to make provision for the body not to fulfill excess or wantonness, but for true necessity and health, so that we may live with a clear mind and give ourselves to spiritual things. To seek help for food and for the ability to work honestly is to seek that kind of provision, and it is right to ask God for it while also doing what you can with diligence and stewardship.
At times God allows a storm or a season of waiting, as when He slept in the boat while the disciples feared, so that we may perceive more clearly His deliverance when it comes. He also befriends us often even against our immediate wishes and without our knowing, working for our greater good and approval before Him, as He did with Paul when He answered his prayer not by removing the trial but by giving sufficient grace. Whether the answer comes quickly or through a longer path, trust that He sees your situation and is working for your profit and His glory.
So I pray that if it is His will, these benefits would be approved and would help sustain you, and that in any outcome He would open doors for honest work, give you wisdom to use what you receive well, and keep you from anxiety. May He draw you closer to Christ in this time, remind you that our present life is passing like a dream, and fix your hope on what does not fade.
