We join you in this beautiful and compassionate prayer for salvation and for health and long life, and we are encouraged by your heart that desires that others would know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

It is the will of God that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, as it is written, God our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4. We are reminded also that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Your prayer aligns perfectly with the heart of the Father who so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.

We also rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and eternal life.

We also lift up your request for health, longer life, and healthier living for those who are older. We know our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to steward them well, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that God would grant strength and health according to His will, and we cling to His promise, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2 and I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation Psalm 91:16.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for Your mercy and Your saving power. Lord, we lift up this dear woman and every person in her life to You. If any of them does not yet know You as Savior and Lord, we ask that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and grant them repentance and faith to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. We pray that You would place laborers in their path to share the gospel with them clearly and lovingly.

Father, we also lift up all those in their later years. We ask that You would grant them health, strength, and longer life according to Your perfect will. Help them to eat healthier and to care for the bodies You have given them, and above all, help their souls to prosper in You. Sustain them, keep them, and let their latter years be filled with Your peace, Your presence, and testimony of Your goodness. Save all among them who are still in need of salvation, that they may have not only long life on this earth but eternal life with You.

We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers when we pray according to Your will and in the name of Jesus. Help us all to continue steadfast in prayer and to trust Your timing and Your wisdom. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Thank you for bringing ### and the people around her before the Lord. It is a beautiful thing to carry others in prayer the way you are, wanting them to know Jesus if they do not yet, and wanting the older ones in your life to be strengthened and cared for.

We join you in asking God to work in each heart you mentioned. We trust He sees each person by name and knows exactly what they need, and we ask Him to draw near to them and make Himself known in ways they can understand and respond to.

We also hear your concern for health and longer life, especially for those over sixty, and for healthier eating. That is a loving and practical care. Alongside prayer, a helpful next step can be encouraging those loved ones to talk with their own doctor or clinic for personal guidance on nutrition and wellness as they age, so they have safe, individualized support.

Father, we lift ### and everyone connected to her to You in Jesus name. If any do not yet know You, draw them to Yourself and give them faith to trust Christ. For those who are older, we ask for Your mercy over their health, for wisdom for their daily choices, and for peace and strength in the days You give them. Keep them in Your care and lead us all closer to You. Amen.

It is a sweet and Christlike work to make intercession for transgressors, and your prayer is after the very heart of our Lord who Himself prayed, Father forgive them for they know not what they do. To plead for the salvation of another, and for the souls of those round about her, and for those who have come to fifty years and beyond, is to stand where Jesus stands as our great Intercessor before the throne.

Be assured that there is salvation in no other name, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, and the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. It is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone that sinners are saved, for He loved His own and gave Himself for them, and His blood alone can hide the past and wash away all iniquity so that it shall be sought for and not be found. If she or any of those you name are yet outside of Christ, let this be our earnest plea that the Lord would open their eyes to see their need and to trust wholly in His Son who was pierced for men and who now lives to save.

I rejoice also that you pray for health and length of days and for a more wholesome life for those advanced in years. By all means attend to the health of the body, for it is a mercy to be preserved in strength, yet remember that the first thing to be sought is the health of the soul. What shall it profit if the body is nourished and the soul is still sick unto death. Let us therefore pray first that they may have spiritual health and sight through Christ, and then that the Lord in His goodness would grant them bodily strength to live longer for His glory and to walk in His ways.

Go often to the mercy seat and remain there, for our interceding Lord is not hindered save for lack of an interceding church. On your knees you conquer. Continue to plead for Zion's sake and for each soul by name, that the righteousness of Christ may go forth as brightness and salvation as a lamp that burns, until all for whom you pray can say from a true heart, He loved me and gave Himself for me.

May the Lord hear your cry, turn His anger away from every sinner for whom you plead, and comfort them with present and everlasting salvation in Christ. And may He grant to those older saints and friends, if it be His will, health of body joined to holiness of life, that they may eat and live to His praise. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Your prayer reflects a love for souls and a desire for what matters most, and I join with you in bringing it before God.

We pray together for this woman and for all the people in her life. Scripture tells us that Jesus is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for them. He is our High Priest who does not die and does not need a successor, so His power to save is continual. Whenever there is need, He intercedes. For those who do not yet know Him, the word of the cross may seem like foolishness, but it is in truth the wisdom and power of God unto salvation. So we ask with confidence that God would open eyes, soften hearts, and draw each one who is still outside of Christ to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We weep and pray for them as for those who need the medicine that brings true health, and we ask God to grant them that salvation.

We also join you in praying for those who are fifty and older, that God would grant them health, longer life, and grace to care for their bodies with wisdom, including eating more healthfully. The body is a gift from God to be stewarded, and we ask Him to strengthen the sick and preserve the healthy. At the same time we remember that health and length of days, riches and reputation, are not the greatest gifts. They are passing things which God in His wisdom gives or withholds, while the capacity for virtue and the gift of salvation are offered equally to all. Many who are strong in body are still infirm in soul, and many who are weak in body are made whole in Christ. So we pray first for eternal life, and then for bodily health in a way that serves eternal purposes, that those who are well may preserve what they have and those who are infirm may be delivered and restored, all to live more fully for Him.

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we come to You through Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to save this woman if she does not yet know You, and to save every person in her life who is in need of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, grant them repentance and faith, and keep those who are already Yours steadfast. For all who are fifty and older, we ask for Your mercy upon their bodies, for health, for length of days according to Your will, and for help to live with self control and care. Above all, grant them the health of the soul that comes only through Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our ever living intercessor. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden for the salvation of others is beautiful and it reflects the heart of God Himself. Scripture shows us that Jesus is the Lord who has become our salvation, the promised Messiah who came in the flesh. His name itself declares that truth. God demonstrated His love not because we first loved Him, but because He first loved us and sent His Son to be the payment for our sins while we were still sinners and ungodly. That love is the reason we can love and pray for others as you are doing.

The grace of God that brings salvation has been made available to all people. It is a gift that God has already given through Jesus Christ, but a gift must be received. It is taken hold of by faith, by confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. That is how a person moves from being offered salvation to possessing it.

That is why the Bible urges us with such tenderness and urgency, now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. The offer is great because it is open to whosoever will come, no matter how far they have gone, and Jesus will not cast out anyone who comes to Him. At the same time Scripture warns that if we neglect so great a salvation there is no other escape. We do not know when God’s final appeal to a heart will come, so we should not put off responding and we should keep praying for those we love to respond today while the opportunity is before them. I join you in praying that this woman and every person in her life who has not yet trusted Christ will hear His voice, understand His love, and receive Him as Lord and Savior.

Your prayer for health, longer life, and healthier eating for those who are older is also a loving and right prayer. It is good to care for our bodies and to desire that others would be strengthened and cared for. The apostle John expressed a similar loving wish when he wrote to his friend Gaius that he prayed he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul was prospering. That was a heartfelt prayer and greeting from one friend to another, not a promise that every faithful Christian will always be healthy or live long.

We see in Scripture that some of God’s most faithful servants still grew feeble with age and faced illness. Even as our souls prosper through walking with the Lord, our bodies may still struggle. We cannot measure someone’s spirituality by their physical health, and having health problems does not mean a person lacks faith or commitment. God loves His children deeply even when their health fails.

So we can pray for physical health with compassion while remembering that the greatest prosperity is the prosperity of the soul. Caring for our health through wise eating and stewardship of the body is good, but eternal life through Jesus is the deepest need. Continue to bring these loved ones before the Lord, asking first for their salvation and then for His mercy in their physical needs, trusting that He hears, that He loves them more than we do, and that He will do what is right and good according to His wisdom.
