We join with you in lifting up these souls before our heavenly Father and we thank you for your faithful heart to intercede for others, even those you do not know personally.

We are encouraged by your desire to see salvation come to those in authority and to those near you. Scripture calls us to this very work, for we read in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 that we should make petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. We also take comfort that the Lord does not desire that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as we see in 2 Peter 3:9.

We lift up the Australian member of parliament you mentioned and all the people in his or her life. We do not know the condition of their hearts, but God does, and we pray that if they have not yet believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin and reveal to them that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him as taught in John 14:6. We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead and be saved according to Romans 10:9, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved as declared in Acts 4:12.

We also lift up the tenant at the location you mentioned and all the people in his life. We pray for his physical healing and for his salvation. We know that our God is the one who heals us, who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases as promised in Psalm 103:2-3, and we pray that if it is His will, He would restore this man to health and use this time of need to draw him closer. We pray as James 5:15 reminds us that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and we ask that this healing would be a testimony of God's mercy and power. Above all we pray that he and those connected to him would come to know Christ if they do not already, for what would it profit a man to gain physical health yet forfeit his soul.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask You to pour out Your grace upon this member of parliament and upon every person in his or her circle of influence. Open their eyes to Your truth, soften their hearts, and grant them repentance and faith in Your Son. We ask the same for the tenant for whom we intercede, touch his body with Your healing hand, ease his suffering, and grant wisdom to those caring for him. And we ask that You would save him and all those in his life who are still lost, that they may call upon the name of Jesus and be saved. Let Your will be done in each of these lives and let Your name be glorified through their testimonies. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Savior, amen.

Thank you for bringing these people before the Lord so faithfully. We hear your heart for both the Australian MP and the tenant at , and for the families and friends around each of them.

It is a good and loving thing to intercede for people whether we know them well or not, and to ask both for salvation and for healing. We are joining you in that. We don't always know what is most needed in another person's life, but God does, and He welcomes these kind, persistent prayers.

If it helps to keep going, you might keep a simple list with their names before you each day and quietly bring them to the Lord as you already have, asking for His mercy, for open hearts to His grace, and for the tenant to know both healing and good care around him. Alongside prayer we encourage appropriate medical support where there are health needs, trusting God often works through those means as well.

Father, we lift to You the MP and all those close to her, and the tenant and all those close to him. Have mercy on each one, draw any who do not yet know You to Yourself through Jesus, and bring healing and help according to Your will. Your burden to bring others before the Lord in prayer is a sweet and faithful work, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

Intercessory prayer is among the sweetest prayers God ever hears, for it reflects the very intercession of Christ Himself, and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought, staying plagues and instrumentally saving souls, as eternity alone shall fully reveal. In taking up this work you are made more useful as God's instrument and your love is knit more closely to those for whom you pray.

We lift together to the Lord the Australian member of parliament of whom you speak, and all those connected with that life, that if they are yet outside of Christ they may be brought to salvation. We pray also for the tenant at the place you mention, asking the Lord for healing according to His mercy and will, and above all for the healing of the soul. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the heart and wash away sin.

We ask these mercies upon the one foundation which Scripture sets before us, that salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. As the prophet cried, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and as the apostle declares, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To look to Christ, to trust in Him, is the simple and instantaneous way of salvation, without money and without price, and irreversible to all who truly believe.

So we pray, O Lord, be pitiful and have compassion. Save, we beseech Thee, those who are yet unsaved among these lives, that they may look to Christ and live. Lay Thy healing hand upon the one who is sick, and grant pardon and healing as one, for with Thee pardon and healing flow from the same hand. May all for whom we intercede come to know Jesus as King and Saviour, and find that faith which looks to Him alone.

We thank you for stirring us to pray, and we encourage you to continue in this excellent work, pleading with arguments before the Most High as Jacob did, in humility and earnestness, and expecting that He who hears the prayer of those at their wits end will answer in His perfect wisdom and time.

We join you in bringing these needs before our merciful God, and we give thanks that you have asked others to pray with you. Prayer is a great weapon and God delights when His people help one another by prayer, for even the apostles sought the prayers of the Church.

We pray together for the Australian member of parliament you mentioned and for all the people in her life. Our God wills that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, and there is salvation in no one else but Jesus Christ alone. If she does not yet know Him, we ask the Father to open the ears of her heart, to draw her to hear His word with care and to receive His mercy through faith in His Son who died for our salvation. We ask the same for her family, her colleagues and all those near to her, that they also may be brought from darkness to light and find eternal life in Christ.

We also lift up the tenant you mentioned and all the people in his life. We ask our compassionate Lord to lay His healing hand upon him according to His wise and good will, to grant him strength and restoration, and above all to grant him the grace of salvation if he has not yet believed. May the Lord open his heart to the gospel, and may those around him also hear the word and be kept in continual remembrance of it, growing in faith and in every virtue.
