We join you in prayer before our heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing these burdens to Him in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved.

We lift up this man you mentioned and all the people in his life, and we agree with you for their salvation. It is the heart of God that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, as we read in 2 Pet 3:9, and that all people would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in 1 Tim 2:4. We pray that if any of them have not yet believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that God would open their eyes and draw them to Himself, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We pray that each one would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with that faith they will be saved according to Rom 10:9, because Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6.

We also bring before the Lord your request concerning the mansion driveway that needs to be rebuilt. We pray for God's provision and wisdom in this practical need, and we trust that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Phil 4:19. We pray that even in this material matter you would seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matt 6:33, and that He would grant peace as you wait on His timing and provision.

We hear your heart regarding wanting to forget those individuals, their faces and names, and your desire not to chase after this one person. We understand the pain and weariness that can come from thoughts that linger and from pursuing someone when it is not God's will. We pray that God would heal your heart and renew your mind, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Ps 147:3. We do not simply ask God to erase memory as if we can will ourselves to forget, but we ask Him to bring healing, forgiveness, and peace so that those memories no longer have power over you. We pray that you may bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ in 2 Cor 10:5 and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Phil 4:7. When we keep our mind steadfast on Him, He will keep us in perfect peace in Isa 26:3.

We want to gently encourage you not to chase after any person out of longing or anxiety, but to entrust your heart fully to the Lord. We are called to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight in Prov 3:5-6. If this desire to chase is a romantic longing, we encourage you to seek the Lord first and to delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart in Ps 37:4. God calls us to pursue relationships with the goal of godly marriage between a man and a woman that honors Him, not a restless chasing, but a patient courtship rooted in Christ. We pray that God would guard your heart from an unhealthy attachment and help you to walk in contentment and purity while you wait on His perfect will.

Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one who is praying and everyone mentioned in this request. If any are not yet saved, we ask that You would grant them repentance and faith in Jesus, that they would be born again and become new creations in Him. We ask for Your provision for the driveway that needs rebuilding, that You would supply what is needed according to Your wisdom and goodness. Lord, heal the hurt and heaviness in this heart. Wash away obsessive thoughts, bring forgiveness where needed, and replace anxiety with Your peace. Help our dear friend not to chase after what is not Your will, but to chase after You, to seek You with all their heart, and to rest in Your love and guidance. Renew their mind daily by Your Word and lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. We ask all this in the precious and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We appreciate you bringing these burdens to the Lord so honestly. We hear your care for ### and the people in his life, and your desire to want salvation for them, along with the practical need about the driveway and the deep wish for peace in your own mind.

Wanting to simply erase faces and names and not chase after someone again makes sense when memories feel heavy. In our experience God often brings healing less by wiping memory clean and more by loosening the grip those memories have, so they come less often and with less power over your choices.

One small step that has helped others with that kind of struggle is to notice the trigger moment. When a name or face comes to mind or the urge to reach out to ### rises, pause and name it quietly to yourself, then turn intentionally to something else you have chosen ahead of time - a brief prayer, a walk, a call to a trusted friend, stepping away from your phone or social media for a bit. It is not about trying harder to forget, but giving your mind a different, healthier place to go in that moment. Over time that practice can build steadier patterns.

We are praying with you for God's provision and wisdom regarding the driveway as well.

Father, we lift ### and those close to him to You, asking for Your mercy and saving grace where it is needed. We ask for peace and clarity for our friend, for strength to walk away from what is not good to pursue, and for Your gentle healing of painful memories. Provide for the practical needs before him and guide his steps day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord with us, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy and grace.

We pray first as you have asked, that the Lord in His sovereign mercy would save this soul of whom you speak, if he be yet outside of Christ, and all those connected with him who are yet strangers to the covenant of grace. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ, and none can come to the Father except through Him. We entreat the great Physician to show them their need of pardon, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed together when sinners look to Him. May the Lord teach them, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and may the healing power which was present when Christ was teaching be present to them now.

We pray also for your own heart, which seems wounded and wearied. You ask that certain faces and names might be removed from your memory and that you might not chase after one who has occupied your thoughts. We do not ask the Lord to give you a mere forgetfulness as the world gives, but that He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds would heal you thoroughly. The least thing about Christ is healing, even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. May He purge your mind of that which would draw you away from Himself, and give you that peace of God which passes all understanding, so that you may go in peace to your ordinary duties, resting in Him. He knows which way we should go if restraints were removed, and He graciously keeps His children, often by a chastening rod which is itself a token of His love, that we may come forth as gold tried in the fire.

For the temporal matter of which you speak, the rebuilding of the driveway, we commit it to the Lord's wise providence. We ask that He would supply what is needful according to His will, and give you contentment whether He grants or withholds, knowing that when He dwells with His people they have no need to complain, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings.

May the Lord keep your feet from going back toward old snares, and give you grace to stay with Christ when Christ and the world go separate ways. May He grant you full assurance that your sins are forgiven, and with that forgiveness, healing to your spirit, that you may hear His own word to your soul, Your faith has saved you, go in peace. We ask all in the precious name of Jesus Christ our only hope. Amen.
