We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. We recognize the power of the enemy to bind and torment, but we also declare the greater power of our Lord and Savior, who came to set the captives free. The Bible tells us in Luke 4:18, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed." We stand on this truth, believing that Jesus has already won the victory over every demonic force.
First, we rebuke every demonic memory, sound, word, and title that has sought to torment you. The enemy has no right to hold you captive to these things, for in Christ, you are a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We command every ungodly soul tie, demonic attachment, and spirit of anger to loose its grip on you in Jesus' name. You are not bound by these things, for "whom the Son sets free is free indeed" (John 8:36).
We also address the spirit of demonization and possession that may have gained access through open doors in your life. Scripture warns us in Ephesians 4:27, "Don’t give place to the devil." If there have been areas where you have given the enemy a foothold, whether through sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly influences, we encourage you to repent and turn away from those things. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and His grace empowers us to walk in freedom.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and sets them free. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of demonic influence in their life. Lord, we rebuke every demonic memory, sound, and word that has sought to torment them. We declare that these things have no power over them, for they belong to You. We command every ungodly soul tie, demonic attachment, and spirit of anger to be broken and destroyed in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would fill every empty place in their life with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would heal any wounds or hurts that have made them vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Restore their mind, body, and spirit, and let them walk in the fullness of the freedom that Christ purchased for them on the cross.
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas where the enemy may have gained access. Give them the strength to repent, renounce, and turn away from anything that does not align with Your will. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother/sister is free, and we stand in agreement with them for complete deliverance and restoration. May they walk in the light of Your truth and experience the abundant life that You have promised. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle has already been won. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with and for you, and immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The enemy may try to come back, but resist him, firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:9), and he will flee. You are not alone in this fight, God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Jesus, for He is your Deliverer and your Strong Tower.
