We lift up these precious souls before the throne of grace, interceding for their salvation with hearts burdened for the lost. The urgency of this prayer is echoed in Scripture, for we know that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—the Way, the Truth, and the Life—that anyone may come to the Father (John 14:6).
Father, we ask that You would open the eyes of those who do not yet know You, that they may see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). Soften their hearts to receive Your Word, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), drawing them to repentance and faith in Your Son.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of deception that blinds minds to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4). We declare that the scales would fall from their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ (Acts 26:18).
We also pray for those who are already believers in these lives—that they would be bold witnesses, shining as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15). May they walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, sharing the gospel with love and urgency, for "how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:15).
Father, we trust in Your sovereignty and mercy. You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would move mightily in these lives, saving souls and transforming hearts for Your glory. May Your name be exalted as the lost are found and the broken are restored.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.
