We lift our voices together in prayer, seeking the Lord’s mercy and grace for these precious souls and situations. Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern and hope, knowing that salvation belongs to You alone and that nothing is impossible for You.
First, we pray for the man in need of salvation. Lord, we do not know his name or his circumstances, but You do. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness, that he would hear the call of Your Spirit and respond in repentance and faith. Open his eyes to see the truth of Your Word, that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, for it is written, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'"* (John 14:6). Soften his heart, Lord, and let him experience the peace that comes only through surrendering his life to You. May he come to know the depth of Your love and the power of the cross, where Jesus bore the weight of his sins.
For ###, we pray that You would guide its future according to Your perfect will. Lord, institutions rise and fall by Your hand, and we ask that You would either sustain this college for Your glory or redirect its path to align with Your purposes. If it is Your will for it to remain open, we pray for wisdom for its leaders, financial provision, and a renewed sense of mission that honors You. May it be a place where truth is upheld, minds are sharpened, and hearts are drawn to You. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5).
For the ministers from ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and ###, we lift them up before You with urgency. Lord, we know that not all who claim the title of minister walk in Your truth, and we pray that those who do not know You personally would be convicted by Your Spirit. Reveal to them the reality of their need for a Savior, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). For those who are already Your faithful servants, we ask that You would strengthen them, protect them from deception, and use them mightily to advance Your kingdom. For those who may be preaching a gospel that is not of You, we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth, that they would turn from false teachings and embrace the fullness of Your Word.
Father, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of complacency or deception that may be at work in these nations. The Word warns us that *"in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power"* (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Lord, we pray that the ministers and people of these nations would reject the lies of this world and cling to the truth of Your Word. Raise up bold voices in these places to proclaim the gospel without compromise, that many would be saved and discipled in Your ways.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which salvation is found. Without Jesus, there is no access to You, no forgiveness of sins, and no hope of eternal life. We declare that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). May this truth take root in the hearts of all those for whom we pray today.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. We ask for Your protection over these ministers, that they would not be led astray by false doctrines or the schemes of the enemy. Strengthen them with Your Spirit, fill them with Your wisdom, and use them to bring many into Your kingdom.
We also pray for the man who may not yet know You, that he would feel the weight of his need for a Savior and respond to Your call. May he find true life in Christ, for *"the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Let him experience the joy and freedom that comes from being reconciled to You.
For ###, we ask that You would either sustain it for Your purposes or redirect its path in a way that brings glory to Your name. May it be a place where young minds are shaped by Your truth and where Your light shines brightly.
We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We trust that You hear us and that You are at work even now. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
