We lift up this heartfelt request to our Heavenly Father, recognizing the deep concern for the salvation of ###’s spouse and those in her life. It is a beautiful thing to intercede for the souls of others, for the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, "This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth." We join in this burden, praying earnestly that God’s grace would draw them to Himself.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which salvation is found. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that ###’s spouse and those around her would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and let them experience the transforming power of Your love. Remove any hardness or deception that keeps them from surrendering to You, and let them see their need for a Savior.
We also pray for ###, that You would strengthen her faith and give her wisdom in how to share the gospel with love and boldness. May she be a light in her home and community, reflecting Christ in all she does. Help her to trust in Your timing and to rest in the assurance that You are at work, even when she cannot see it. Remind her that Your Word does not return void, as Isaiah 55:11 tells us, "So shall my word be that goes out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do."
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of complacency or unbelief that may be hindering the salvation of these souls. We declare that the power of the Holy Spirit is greater than any resistance, and we stand on the promise of 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." We trust that You are working even now to bring them to repentance and faith.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave His life so that all might be saved. May Your will be done in the lives of ###’s spouse and those around her, and may they come to know the joy and peace that comes from a relationship with You. Amen.
