We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up this situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. We recognize that there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, to cast out every demon, and to bring true freedom to those who are bound. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We stand on this truth as we pray.
Father God, we first rebuke every form of demonization and spiritual oppression in the life of this individual. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We command every evil spirit associated with the title of that song to leave now in the name of Jesus. The Word of God tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist every demonic influence and declare that this person is covered by the blood of Jesus, which cleanses from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).
Lord, we also come against the knowledge and influence of zodiac signs, horoscopes, and any form of divination or occult practice. These are abominations to You, as Deuteronomy 18:10-12 clearly states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We ask You to remove every trace of these practices from their mind and heart. Fill them instead with the knowledge of Your truth, Your Word, and Your will for their life. Renew their mind according to Romans 12:2, which says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Father, if this individual has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray for their salvation. We ask that You draw them to Yourself, soften their heart, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. John 3:16-17 tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him." We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Let today be the day of their salvation if they have not yet surrendered their life to You.
We also lift up the people in this person’s life who may be in need of salvation. Lord, we ask that You would work in their hearts as well, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Use this individual as a light in their lives, that they may see the love and truth of Christ through them. We pray that none would perish but that all would come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences who will encourage them in their walk with You.
We declare that this person is set free from every bondage, every lie, and every deception of the enemy. We speak life, healing, and restoration over them. We pray that they would walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, as Galatians 5:1 reminds us, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." May they experience the fullness of life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill this person with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live a life that honors You. May they grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will in all things and walking in obedience to Your Word. We pray that they would be a vessel for Your glory, shining Your light in a dark world.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
